Removal of interior wall.

We want to have a wall removed on the main floor of our house. If that's not possible the least required is opening of some sort to allow light into the room. I don't know if it's a load bearing wall or not. I'm wondering how much it would cost to have someone check it out & give us an estimate.

Everything is possible but has to find the right person with the right advice and the right contractor that able to do the job probably for you. No one can tell you without seeing it. Professional Contractor can asset and give you a free estimate most of the time but to be on the safe side you have to consult a professional engineer that cost you about $400 for the visit.
