Do I need a journeyman or master plumber to replace the main water shut off in my basement or can it be a licensed apprentice?

Hey, tbh the apprentice has to accompanied by his "teacher" which would be licence journeyman or master plumber.

I have always used a plumber. I would suggest you contact your local water services for the proper answer in your area.
