Turning a 1.5 story house to a 3/4 or 2

Hello,
I am just wondering what the costs would be like for changing a 1.5 story house into a 3/4 or 2? It is just very narrow upstairs and we would like more space. It already has a bathroom upstairs, it would be more to push out the walls and redo the roof.
Just a rough price per sqft?

Minimum $350 a sq ft I'd imagine.
