We need to replace the laminate countertop. There are two very active food producers in our family so we need something very durable, non scratch, mark proof and easy to clean.

We have a smoke mirror backsplash. Will it be damaged doing a new install?

Also, the cost per sq ft.

Hi Leona,

Artificial stone like CaesarStone is very durable.

No fill, so no need to seal and re-seal.

Can handle hot pots, etc.

The backsplash may be damaged, hire the right guy (not the cheapest guy) and simply ask him to do his best. There are no guarantees.

Prices vary.

If you want it to last prefab hard substance like, (Marble, or Granite) is probably best. If you would like we can come out for an Estimate and speak more about what you're looking.
