Hello,
I am looking for information on framing rates. Could anybody please tell me what to expect for labor either by the sqft or by the hour to do framing? I would provide materials.

It depends what you're building. Basement Framing in East Toronto area I charge 3 dollars per square foot basic frame includes ceiling. To frame a house 5.50 to 7.50 per square foot.

In Winnipeg, I charge depending on complexity of the project between $7-$9 per sqft. I've had some sub contractors try and charge $12 per sqft.
