I like to build a new house in Brampton or Caledon on a 1 acer land. I am in process of buying a land but like to know how much a new bungalow with loft or a two story house between 4000 to 6000 sq.ft. will cost .
Please provide me cost of each steps in details if possible.
Steps and costing to Build a 3000 to 6000 sq.ft. House.
1 Prepare Construction Site and Pour Foundation
Apply for and Acquire Permits
Construction Crew Levels Site
Dig and Puts Up Wooden Forms for the Temporary Foundation
Footings Are Installed (Pour foundation, Slab Garage and Basement)
Inspection #1
2 Complete Rough Framing
Check Foundation level/square prior to framing & installing doors/windows
Floor System, Walls, Ceiling joints and Roof Systems Are Completed
Sheathing Applied to Exterior Walls, Covered With Protective Wrap
3 Complete Rough Plumbing, Electrical and HVAC
The Following Are Installed:
Pipes and Wires - Sewer Lines and Vents
Water Supply Lines - Bathtubs, Shower Units
Ductwork for HVAC System - HVAC Vent Pipes
Inspections #2, #3, #4
4 Install Insulation as required per building codes
Fiberglass - Cellulose - Foam Mineral Wool - Concrete Blocks
Insulation Concrete Forms - Spray Foam - Foam Board or Ridged Foam
Structural Insulated Panels
5 Complete Drywall and Interior Fixtures, Start Exterior Finishes
Drywall is Hung and Taped - Texturing is Completed
Primary Coat of Paint is Applied
Exterior Finishes (Brick, Stucco, Stone) Are Installed
6 Complete Interior Finish
Doors, Window Sills, Decorative Trim Installed
Kitchen Cabinets & Granite Counters, Vanities, Fireplace Mantles Installed
Install Hard Surface Flooring (Hard wood) and Countertops where required
Install Ceramic tile in the Hallway and Kitchen area.
Mirrors, shower doors and carpeting are installed and final cleanup takes place through out the house
Final Coat of Paint through out the house
7 Complete Exterior Walkways and Driveway
Exterior finish grading is completed to ensure proper drainage away from the home and prepare the Walkway, Driveway and yard for landscaping.
8 Finish Mechanical Trims; Install Bathroom Fixtures
Light fixtures, outlets and switches are installed and the electrical panel is completed. HVAC equipment is installed and registers completed. Sinks, toilets and faucets are put in place.
Inspection #5
A building-code official completes a final inspection and issues a certificate of occupancy. If any defects are found during this inspection, a follow-up inspection may be scheduled to ensure that they've been corrected.
9 Prepare and Install Walkway and Driveway as required.
Trees, shrubs & grass are planted and other exterior landscaping completed.
10 Final Walk-Through
This is where you spot items that need to be corrected or adjusted!

Cost of building is any where from $200-$300.00 per sqft, the detail you are asking for isn't reasonable with out drawings. No one will give you the detail you are asking for.
