We are looking to get pot lights installed in our living room which is on the second floor in our Townhouse. We think we will need about 9-10 pot lights. If the price is right, we would like to get it done this week (Oct 9-Oct 14).
Was quoted $55/light by a local contractor. Looking for the best quote.
I am looking to have 6 potlights installed in my Kitchen a above the breakfast nook. Measuring approx 11x2. The home is approx 1 month old. New build, unfinished basement.
The cooking area within the kitchen already has 6 potlights installed. I would like to match the exact same potlights, patten and would like to have them all symetrically alligned with the existing potlights. The exisiting potlights are white in color, PAR 20's with a 4" diameter. Most electrical suppliers sell them for $25 each.
Currently I have a chandalier within the proposed area. The chandalier is wired to an existing switch, that I would like to use for the new potlights that are to be installed. I would like to remove the chandalier, patch the hole, and install the new potlights.
I would like to have a liscenced and insured electrician / tradesmen install this at a reasonable price. My exeocations that any holes / damage to the cieling will be cleaned up before you leave. I will request proof of insurance for both liability and damage.
I am on a strict budget, so if you are contacting me I would like to kindly suggest that you put your best foot forward and give me your best price right up front. It will save us both a signifigant amount of time.
I would like to execute this job asap. Thank you all for your submissions.
I am looking to remove my 2 existing outdoor lights and install new ones, but over the garage instead. The old holes in the brick will have to be filled or covered somehow. New wiring may have to be installed.
The picture included is an example of where I want my lights to be.
Please send me an estimate, thanks.
I changed a bedroom single bulb chandelier out and installed an LED ceiling fixture on a dimmer. Works good however now since changing the light now my hallway light does not work and also an outlet in my living room. Perhaps they are connected I don't know. Wife wants to decorate for Christmas and we need these things working.
Hello,
We live in brampton and are looking for pricing to have one light fixture installed in our dining room (there is currently no light or any power, its is just a ceiling) and also to have about 15 light switch and outlets switched out with new ones. Please provide and estimate for this work. We have the light and switches ready.
I just had a wall put up to divide my basement, separating my office (75%) & the laundry area (25%). The fuse box is located in the laundry area. I have one main light switch (at the top of my stair case) that controls 4 lights in my basement. 2 of those lights are in the laundry area, and the other 2 are in my office area.
I want to have 2 of those lights (in my office area) disconnected from the main light switch (at the top of my stair case), and I want each of them to have their own light switch. I also want to install a light fixture (which I will purchase on my own) installed with it's own separate light switch in the office area.
The basement is unfinished in the sense that the walls do not have any drywall or plaster even on the ceiling, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE WALL I JUST HAD PUT IN.
So you'll be installing 3 light switches in total & 1 light fixture (which I will purchase). YOU will purchase the light switches. Price is a MAJOR deciding factor in this project for me and I wish to move forward with this project ASAP! I am NOT interested in estimates, however if you are willing to come to my residence and give me a FREE WORK ORDER (that will not be subject to any increases when it's time to have the job done) then I'd be more than happy to have you come over, look at the job and provide that documentation.

We want to upgrade our electrical service to our house to allow for more electrical - we are adding a finshed basement and would like to upgrade the panel on our current service from 100 AMP to 200 AMP, it may have to be moved slighlty to allow for more connection or to allow for possibly a bigger box, right now there are circuit breakers in the current panel and all breakers are being used.
Please call for more information or any questions if not clear enough.
Dryer suddenly blowing fuses on the panel - dryer tech in (dryer is 5 months old) and absolutely believes it isn't the dryer - states it's either the dryer outlet or the wiring to the panel. this is an older panel with glass fuses - the wiring is to a fuse bus (two 15amp fuses). We had a Samsung dryer that was working for 5 years prior to this dryer on the same wiring
