I would like to have a light fixture moved. Currently, it hangs from a hook, and the electrical box is approximately 6 feet away.
It is in a kitchen on the main floor. The second floor is finished so impossible to access through the ceiling. Ceiling is tiled, hoping for no damage... Not sure which way the joists run.
I have pictures of the ceiling upon request!
Looking to purchase RING 2 and 1 additional camera. Would like the RING hard wired. No current doorbell is hardwired. Need to know if it's possible to do without current doorbell. Pricing needed for just the one ring install. A separate quote including 1 additional external camera as well.
Hydro connection for Steam kit for shower
Dimmers for 7 switches (LED we believe but require confirmation)
2-3 Ceiling fan installs upstairs in bedrooms
Here’s the electrical work we need done:
1. New outlet and dedicated circuit for fridge
2. New outlet for dishwasher
3. Confirm if there is knob and tube wiring in basement (remedy/possible removal options?)
4. Uninstall electric car charger from circuit breaker and patch hole in wall (car charger is attached to the exterior siding of the house)
5. Replace old light switch with new switch with dimmer in living room
6. Install GFCI receptacles to 3 outlets (2 indoor and 1 outdoor)
So the power in two rooms upstairs is out. It sometimes comes back but it hasn't for like 3 weeks now and I really need it fixed. I have a limited budget, due to personal and family problems. I think it has something to do with the breaker box itself - but I don't want to go messing with it. I know it's not just like a fuse flipped off or something.
Hello, we have an older home over 70yrs old approx, located on the Central East Mountain. the wiring is very old and we have 3 floors and the exterior plus garage to rewire. we are looking to upgrade to a safe electrical panel and change every outlet and new wiring to all connects in the home with the possibility of adding a few extras so that the basement could be finished at some point.
Hello,
We recently bought a new condo unit which came with a Cooktop and a convection Microwave, but no oven.
We would like to install an oven, but we aren't sure if we should:
1) Install a wall oven below the cooktop (there are some space limitations)
2) Install a wall oven elsewhere in the kitchen (which would require some electrical work)
3) Cut the granite countertop where the cooktop is, and put in a regular oven/cooktop
We would appreciate if someone would be able to come an look at our unit, quote on the three options and carry out the best option.
Thank you for your time.

I have a fan in the bathroom that is not working and would need to be replaced. I have pictures of the fan and can send off to you. Please feel free to contact me to discuss. There is drywalling that would have to be completed as well not sure if you do that as well as the ceiling is damaged from the moisture.
I have just purchased a rental property (triplex) and require the knob and tube be replaced. 2nd and 3rd floor have grounded wires however the main floor is primarly knob and tube. The basement is unfinished so access is available.
Basement also has a significant amount of galvanized steel plumbing that requires to be changed, Square footage of entire house is approx 2400 sq feet.
Hello,
I'd like a quote for some work. We'd like some knob and tube disconnected. And new lines run for 3 switches, 2 ceiling lights and 2 wall sconces and a few outlets. I will install the lights myself. I need the new electrical installed. The walls have been cleaned to the studs. All work is on the main floor with access from the basement below. The bulk of the work is located in one primary location. With one additional outlet/switch/light in another area.
Thank you.
A few weeks the majority of all electrical components in the upstairs of my house stopped working. Outlets and lights. I tried flicking the breaker switches but was unable to re-solve the issue.
Looking to get this sorted out as well as look into adding more power outlets into my office and bedroom.
I am not sure if I need a complete rewire on my home or not. It is approximately 30 years old with aluminum wiring. Some of my lights have begun to flicker when they are on. As well some of the boxes in the walls are not set up properly and the new fixtures won't attach properly.
My home is a backsplit so most of the main floor wiring is accessible through the open crawl space and laundry room (unfinished.)
Please contact me to set up a time to provide a quote.
Attic floor has been exposed prior to contractor laying new flooring tomorrow Oct 7 or Sat Oct 8. Floorboards can be lifted (by contractor if desired) to access 2 ceiling fixtures and walls switches that have knob and tube wiring. Also 1 wall receptacle that should be rewired or a new wall outlet cut into the plaster wall. There is up to date wiring in the attic to connect to.
Could use remote controlled switch for ceiling light.
About a month ago, I tried to install a humidity sensor in my bathroom to control my fan. It didn't work, and my fan does not turn on at all. A few other electrical things on that side of the house stopped working at the same time, which I imagine are related (specifically the light in the hallway no longer turns on and the plug in an adjacent room no longer works).
I just bought a house in Hamilton East. I work night shift so I need to soundproof one of my bedroom windows (2.5 x 1, a basement bedroom window). I have some 2 x 4, soundproof drywall and some soundproof insulation. So I need to build a window plug - cut the 2 x 4 and build a frame, cut the drywall and screw it on one side, insert insulation and screw on drywall on other side. Only other thing is that I want to put some of that foam filler in between the plug and the window frame to complete the seal.
Also need a battery operated security light mounted on the outside of the house.
May also need you to mount a few smoke detectors in the house.
Looking to add two smart switches in my home that are smart phone/google assistant addressable. One for the master bath fan on the second floor, and one on the main floor (outside insulated wall) for the gas fireplace. Both locations only have three wires... copper, black and white.
The smart switches suggest that I also need a red wire.
I am looking to have an electrician install the wiring and the switches for both device.
Thanks
I would like to have an outdoor flood light fixture replaced. The one I have at the moment has a motion sensor I don't need. In addition, the fixture is not properly installed and it is just hanging from the soffit, instead of being properly secured. I can send pictures if you like. I would like to get a quote for the work.
