We have an area of our basement in which we would like finished into an office and spare room. When we purchased the house, the walls were already ruffed in for the rooms and the electrical has been done. There is one small wall to put in to contain one room and a small closet. The space is just under 400 sqft. We're looking to have it drywalled, ceiling and flooring done.
600-700 sq feet. Need complete finish, walls, strapping (wood), drywall. paint, bathroom including whirlpool tub shower and flooring. Two rooms other wise, Stair case, folding doors to hide furnace and water heater. Rough in for gas fireplace. Mortgage plus situation.
Basement is empty and ready to go over current insulation, house only five yrs old.
I am the home owner and need to get my basement finished.
The basement sq footage is around 2000. Need pretty much everything done including washroom, kitchen counter and such.
Licensed contractor with at least 5 years of experience and liability insurance on hand is preferred. Should have full knowledge of building code and apply it as such. Basement should use products which minimize mold and moisture.
Please get back to me for this job.
We need to finish our basement along with adding a 3pc bath. The exterior walls are metal studded with 1/2 wall iinsulation and vapor barrier. House is 1566sq. Ft. We are moving into this place on July 4. And would like to start work the next week. This job will be financed thru our mortgage as improvements so the quote will be going through our bank to be approved.
Our house is 5.5 years old. We are looking to finish our basement (approx. 600 sq/ft). We just want a basic finish...nothing special. There is a rough-in for a two piece bathroom that we'd like to put in as well as the laundry room. We are thinking about bamboo flooring in the living area and tile or laminate in the bathroom and laundry room.
We have a basement with a full bathroom, laundry room and main room that needs to be finished.
All plumbing has been completed by certified plumber and all electrical has been completed by certified electrician.
Ventilation has been installed as well.
The current state is the dry wall has been installed and mudded. We would require the framing and moulding of 3 windows, 2 small one larger.24 x 48 and 12 x 30, windows size.
There are 4 doors that still need to be installed. Bathroom, Laundry room, closet, and a shorter pump room closet door.
All the trim, and paint is still required.
The stair case going down to the basement still requires finishing and trim, I believe its current state is 'builders stairs'.
We are looking to have the floor finished, underlayment and then either vinyl or laminate. Possibly underlayment that won't make that plastic sticky tacky noise.
We would like to have cabinets and laundry tub installed in the laundry room. Also a counter top style over top of the machines.
We would like the bathroom finished as well, would require installation of shower basin, toilet and vanity. The shower stall can be made with tile preferably but also a prefab basin and liner would be acceptable.
In the main room we would like to get a built in tv Stanton one wall, which can be discussed later on.
I would like to finish my basement. The basement has cement floor, metal studs with insulators and the plumbing ready for the washroom. The basement size is approximately 600 sqf. I woud like to place a bathroom with stand shower, sink and toilet. I would also like to split the basement to two or three different rooms.
Thank you,
Alla
Townhome is just over 1 year old. Basement space is about 480 square feet including furnace "room" / laundry (will be, once it has walls).
Some/most framing complete - including insulation on outside-facing walls (townhome is an end unit). Concrete floor. 3 piece bathroom rough in. Two windows.
Seeking a quote on basement finishing, including subfloor, drywalling and wall finishing, california ceiling installation, framing of bathroom and two storage areas. four to five electrical outlets, additional lighting. Door on bathroom and on two storage rooms. Carpeting and baseboards. Depending on cost, we also wish to finish the 3 piece bathroom (rough in exits) otherwise will complete at a later date.
Essentially, we want a basic finished basement and are interested in quotes for this.
If you require any more information, please ask.
We have a 37 yr old house with originally renovated basement, which is now in bad shape. The ceiling is in poor condition, the fluorescents are not working well and provide inadequate lighting, and the carpet needs replacement. One outlet doesnt work and another sparks. The walls are painted panelling but just need repriming and painting, not replacing. My three little boys need to sleep down there and it is their primary playroom also, and it is really dreary for them. I have saved money for over a year and now have enough hopefully to do it. I may have someone eise to do the ceiling but please estimate with and without if possible.

I'm looking for a quick turnaround to help finish up a basement reno. I need 2 light dimmers and about 10-12 electrical outlets wired and mounted (all boxes and wiring in place, just needs to be cut, stripped, attached.) Walls are thicker now, so window jams need to be extended, finished preferably flush with new walls. Some mudding will probably be required.
Painting at least one large room.
I'm hoping to get this work done this week/weekend as I have an important personal deadline to meet. If you can start working, I can pay by the hour or by the day, and figure out pricing as we go along. If you're available, please contact me!
Thank you very much.

I have laminate flooring purchased already
I would like someone to finish the basement using the flooring I have...also, install electrical to the room and pot lights in the ceiling...no bedroom or closets or kitchen
Framing and dry walling need to be done
I would like a pedestal sink or small vanity sink and small corner shower and toilet...maybe towel storage and medicine cabinet
There is one Window in the basement
Furnace and water heater and softener... no washer and dryer in the basement
The area is 19 by 24. But around 10 by 7 of that is furnace and water heater and softener
I have a budget of about 6,000
Is there anyone out there that can do the work for this price...hopefully have it done in 3 weeks or less
My house was built on 2011 and would like to get the basement finished. My living space is 1573sqft to give an idea of how big (or small) the house is. In the basement, I'd like to have a family/entertainment area and probably storage (where the furnace is). There is some sort of temporary insulation installed (The pink insulation wrapped in plastic). Not sure if those need to be replaced. I'd like the basement to have good lighting. A fireplace is a nice to have(but if too expensive, maybe not). There is also a three piece rough-in for a bathroom. In the bathroom, I don't need a bath tub and only require a shower enclosure. Not sure what else to add. Basically, I just want it to be finished with almost all the area to be an entertainment area for the family.
