One quote for floor tiling and second quote for floor tiling and installation of vanity and toilet.
I have an area where I need ceramic tiles laid. It is approx. 40 Sq. ft. There is existing carpet there which would have to be removed by you, then you would supply the tiles, about 12"x12" in a dark beige, even a tumble look. The area where the carpet on each end continues will have to be finished so the carpet will not fray, I guess with a metal carpet bar or whatever that is called.
This area is what should have been already tiled in my opinion as it is my front entrance hallway. There is tiles right when you walk into the front door which is a small square area, then you hit the carpet hall, the problem I have is when people walk in they end up stepping on the carpet which is light cream so it gets soiled.
Please price with you doing all the labour and supplying all the materials.
We are re doing the floor of our kitchen and foyer
Total area is 650sq ft
We will supply tile
You have to remove tiles from foyer and linoleum from kitchen. Next you will screw in the floor and do the flexible cement to level the floor and then lay the mesh and finally the tiles
Location : Mississauga Mavis and 401
Start first week of Feb
I need some skilled handyman or renovation company- esp has expereince in tiling to complete my remodeling project
I cousing started the project who got into an accident and its been left unfinished.
Some tiling work in the bathroom, kitchen floor etc are needed
I am in a real time crunch so couple of guys needed to start working this weekend and finsih off in 2 to 3 days.
I have 2 Tiling projects that I need. If you can do both - please price both separately.
1) Install a mosaic backsplash in Kitchen (assume the material needs to be sealed).
Approx 37 Sq.Ft.
If you can supply material, that is great - if not, I can get material myself.
2) I currently have a wooden fireplace mantel with a brick hearth. Wooden fireplace needs to be removed, bricks need to be removed and I would like to install a "rough granite" type of tile/stone on this and replace the stone heart with either limestone or travertine tiles.
Approx 75 Sq.Ft. of space of coverage for the stone on the mantel + small heart.
Labour required: Remove brick hearth, remove mantel, tile with new stone and replace bricks with travertine tiles. Again, I can provide materials - or if you can do so, great.
Project located in Mississauga - time frame is 2-4 weeks as we will be waiting for the rest of the kitchen to be completed before we do the backsplash.
I have a total of 55 square feet kitchen backsplash area which I need a backsplash for. 30 square feet of that is the area between the countertop and the cabinets and the area behind the stove. The remainder 25 square feet is the area on top of the cabinets and the ceiling for the kitchen. I am not tiling the area behind the fridge.I have all the materials:
1.4*4 Ceramic tiles 2.Grout 3.Edging 4. Six accent tiles which are also 4*4 5.Glue 6.The spacers 7.Tile Sealant
Contractor needs to bring their own tile cutting machine and own trowel. The fee I am paying for the project is CAD 300 FIXED. I live near square one Mississauga in a Semi detached house.
Contractor also needs to bring their own ladder as I do not have one.
Kitchen back splash.
New kitchen with a blank drywall back.
Backsplash size 16ft x 4ft.
I have purchased the glue in pounder form, the grout, and the clear glass tile. Just looking for a professional to install it nicely and neat :)
Please message me with a quote.
Hi there, I would like to replace my existing ceramic kitchen floor tiles with new porcelain floor tiles, but I DO NOT want to remove my kitchen cabinets as I have an existing granite counter top on them. I understand that this can be done, there are tools out there to assist in jobs like this (toe kick saw, pneumatic chippers etc..) I am also looking at replacing our existing kitchen back splash, and the floor tiles in our front foyer and powder room as well. (I would like to use the same tiles in the kitchen, foyer and powder room). The front foyer area is approx. 9'x9', the landing to powder room is approx. 5'x4' and the powder room is approx 8'x4'. The kitchen and breakfast area is approx. 17'x9' and because it is oddly shaped, there is an area 13'x1' and 4'x2'. The area leading to the backyard needs to be tiled as well and that measures 4'x3' and the closet 3'x2'. The measurements I have given you are definately bigger and not smaller. I am looking for a quote for this job. I live in Mississauga. I have found some 12x24 tiles online I like, and presume that I would buy the tiles and the installation would be done by you guys. I am having the kitchen cabinets refaced in July, and also want to know if the tiles should be done before or after the cabinet refacing.. I am thinking probably before to not damage the refaced cabinetry??
I'm interested in receiving a free quote for some basement work. I simply want to put in new laminate flooring (there is old laminate now). I am uncertain of the area, however I believe it is around 450 square'. I also want to re-tile the basement shower. I might re-tile the whole bathroom depending on the price.
I only need a price for labour, I will supply the materials: laminate and tiles.

Age of House: built 1955
This is a standard bungalow with an L-shaped living room.
Not sure of square footage; it was never declared in the real estate listing.
The existing hardwood is the original strip flooring which I intend to install into my basement kitchen so ripping it up must be
done with care.
There are areas where the floor squeaks that must be corrected.

I intend to put down some porcelain or ceramic in a curved angle at one end of the dining room. This job requires
someone who can lay down laminate in a curved angle to accommodate the installation of porcelain or ceramic.
C. EXPERIENCE AND PHOTOGRAPHS
I would also hope that the person has experience installing porcelain or ceramic and can show me photographs of
similar work done recently.
1. I intend to use laminate with underlayment (of my choice) and wish to know whether you use glue or glueless installation of the laminate.
2. Edges of underlaymentmust be butted together not overlapped.
E. What type of laminate?
melamine resin/aluminum oxide laminates
E. PLACEMENT OF BOARDS:
Direction of Boards:
Boards will run parallel to the light entering the room.
F. DOOR MOLDINGS
Moldings of doors must be removed prior to installation. I will not permit installation without the removal of the moldings of doors.
Baseboards must be removed, of course.
G. YOUR QUOTE
I want a quote to list the following items separately:

Tiles were laid poorly not level or spaced evenly and left all the cut work to be done. Also needs grout. If it were in budget I would redo the whole thing but our porcelain tiles were not cheap. This is for our commercial business and we are supposed to open next Saturday! Need it done ASAP today and tmrw if possible aprx 160sqft left to lay. And about 760 sqft to be grouted.
Looking to lay new tile (yet to be determined, but likely porcelin or travertine). Approximately 780 square feet including hallway, bathroom, laundry room, and kitchen (including kitchen dining area). For the kitchen, tile would be to the cabinetry, but not underneath. Washroom would require removal of toilet and sink cabinet. Existing flooring is ceramic tile that would have to be removed. Referrals are a must along with pictures of previous work done. Viewing of work previously done would be beneficial.
Need someone to fix part of the sub-floor and lay new porcelain tile throughout on floor in bathroom (approx. 5' x 10' ) - tile to be laid in diamond configuration. Also will be installing new marble subway tiles in tub enclosure. All tiles to be provided.
Please provide a breakdown of the work to be done and a cost per square foot for laying the tile.
Outdoor conrete patio and couple of steps good quality require ceramic tiles. Approx. 120ft2.
Surface should be leveled (additional layer of concrete) to disable current collection of water in the middle.
House is 45 years old.
There is existing railing on the patio.
Interested in jewel stone or good ceramic tiles or maybe something else.
