Hi, having moved recently, I would like to renovate the master ensuite. It currently has a cast iron tub that I do not wish to keep. I'd like to have a new shower built and a new vanity and toilet installed. I would provide the shower, vanity and toilet. Also, the bathroom has radiant floor heating so care would have to be taken to keep that intact.
Remove and dispose 5 ft iron tub and replace with acrylic; put in new Gohe shower diverter tub spout, pressure balance rough in valve, Grohe tempesta cosmopolitan 100 shower set, Eurosmart Chrome pressure balance valve; buy and install moisture barriers and cement board around tub surround (10.3 ft x 5.75 Ft) and drywall on ceiling above tub enclosure (2.75 x 5 ft) ; buy & install adequate support (3/4 inch plywood?) over subfloor which is L-shaped (8.17ft x 4.83 ft plus 2.75 x 2.75 ft off one end for toilet area). Determine number of tiles needed for tub surround and for floor (Midgley West Arabesque glazed porcelain (12" x 24") including allowance for tile baseboard. Install tiles on floor and tub surround. Reinstall toilet. Note: the old tile and cement board has been removed I already have a vanity which I will install and will get a quartzite countertop and sinks installed by the countertop manufacturer. I will attach the sink faucets and sinks to the plumbing myself once the countertop arrives. I will paint the ceiling above the tub myself.

Dear Trusted pros,
My husband and I are planning to renovate one or possibly 2 bathrooms in our home this year (depending on budget) and we have a few other small home improvements on the list as well. Our bathrooms are tiny mid-century 5 X 7 bathrooms and we don't plan to increase the size but would like to freshen them up and optimize the space. The toilets are low flow and relatively new so we won't be replacing them. No major structural work as we would keep the existing layout more or less. We may want to remove one pocket door and replace with a regular door or a barn door on the exterior of the bathroom.
We're interested in receiving quotes for the work. Thanks for your reply.

I am looking into doing the following bathroom renovation:
Bathroom # 1
1. Re-tile a stand up shower and install a glass shower door, which may require widening the door way a bit.
2. Re-tile floor
3. Replace vanity
4. Re-tile surrounding wall tiles of a corner bath tub
Bathroom #2:
1. Re-tile floor
2. Replace vanity
3. Re-tile surrounding wall tiles of a standard bath tub
Small bathroom, 5' 7'
Need everything removed.
Have purchased new floor tile, bath wall tile, vanity, toilet, faucet, bath faucet/shower, light.
Need bathtub.
Need all items installed.
I am interested in a heated floor also, 4' 2.5'
Property owner.
We'd like to renovate our existing master bathroom, to do the following:
Bathroom dimensions, 12' 10" (length) x 5' 9" x (depth)
1) Remove all tile and finishes, including floor and shower tile
2) Install new custom double-sink vanity where current windows are (see new plan attachment), similar to this:click here Relocate existing windows (see attachment)
4) Keep toilet and shower in current locations (toilet to be reposition, not on 45 degree angle)
5) Re-tile floor, re-tile shower
6) Tile wainscotting around walls in bathroom
Basically, the current bathroom layout doesn't work for us. We don't like the single vanity, and find the toilet is awkwardly placed. We want to keep the size of the existing shower, install a new double vanity beside it (would need a half-wall added to the shower so the vanity can be placed flush with it). Re-finish the entire bathroom.
Looking to complete a ensuite bathroom renovation. I have a shower that caused some water damage to the ceiling located below the shower. Looking at taking this opportunity to complete a full bathroom renovation. Would like 2 quotes. One that would be to fix the damage from the leak (as I may go through insurance) and a second for the remainder of the renovation. The ensuite contains a stand up shower (to be replaced), double sink vanity (to be replaced or partially replaced), jacuzzi tub (no need to replace), tiles (to be replaced).
I am seeking quotes for a main bathroom renovation that must be completed between July 7-21, 2015.
Overview: The main washroom (5x8) of the house will be expanded (5x12) to add a washer/dryer and a closet. All fixtures will be replaced but kept in the same locations, except for the washer/dryer, whirlpool tub and bathroom fan which will be new installations requiring new framing, electrical and plumbing.
The scope of work includes:
1) Removal+disposal of existing fixtures and 2 closets.
2) Expansion and modifying 3 closets to add washer/dryer. Framing and finishing of new closets.
3) New electrical supply for bathroom fan, lights, clothes washer&dryer, and whirlpool tub.
4) New plumbing supply for clothes washer and as required - rough-in for fixtures, tub, toilet and vanity will remain at current locations.
5) New vents to be installed for bathroom fan and clothes dryer.
6) New framing to be installed for alcove tub and exposed shower system..
7) Subway tile (2x3) installation in alcove tub area from tub to ceiling. Half wall tile installation behind toilet and around vanity.
8) Flooring tile to be installed.
9) Install new doors, moldings, and paint.
If you are interested in this project, please come by on Tuesday June 9th at 1:00pm or 2:00pm to look at the bathroom and discuss the work required. The house is located off Beechwood, north of Vanier. I will require the contact information for 3 past renovation customers as references with your quote.
Let me know if you have any questions.

I am looking to do a number of small jobs around the house. My initial focus would be to update two small condo bathrooms (approx 7x7 and 5x5).
I am looking to replace the vanties/countertops, replace the toilets, replace or remove a medicine cabinet and paint both rooms.
In terms of specifics, looking for granite countertops, wood vanities, undermount sink, efficient toilet.
Hello,
We would like to get an idea of how much a renovation would cost for our bathroom. The house was built in the 1960s and is still original. A tub, vanity and toilet would need to be replaced as well as the flooring and tiles in the tub area. The room is quite small. On one side we have the toilet and vanity (one sink and small storage beneath). On the opposite wall is the bath tub. There is no room to expand.
We are seeking quotes to remove an existing wall between two bedrooms and turn one half into a master en suite bathroom. The site condition is a finished home and the square footage of the main project is approximately 500 sq ft. The house is approximately 50 years old and in excellent condition. There are no previous renovations (save some updates that have been done to make the house less dated). I have an existing two-piece en suite bathroom off the bedroom that will become a master en suite (plumbing is already in place). The existing two piece en-suite will remain in place and serve as a private water closet (only the toilet will remain in that space).
Also, to I'd like to remove and replace all of the hardwood on the upper level of the house (replacing with black bamboo) and to gut/re-do the other existing bathroom.
I have already purchased the flooring I'd like to replace the existing hardwood with, tile for both bathrooms and the shower enclosures, taps, faucets and diverters for the showers, new toilets and all of the finishing materials.
Removal of old bathtub (which plumber advised may be rusting underneath).
Repair of any foundation damage under the tub.
Replacement of rusted drain with new chrome fittings.
Possible replacement of shower fixture.
Installation of new slip-free tub.
Installation of a grab bar.
Caulking around the perimeter of the tub.
Installation of shower doors.
Exterior dimensions of existing tub: 15" x 30 1/4" x 58" (HxDxW) .
Tub surround is six-inch square white ceramic tile to ceiling, in excellent condition - to be kept intact.
