Hello
I've got a new build (6 months) and we got a smaller tub than we would have liked. Looking to just replace with a 32x60 rather than the 30x60 that is much narrower than the 30x60 we used to have.
Tile tub surround. 6 inch subway tile (horizontal). Would likely need to replace bottom row of tiles. Have the tiles.
Walls and tiles go out to 32inch already.
Hello,
I've purchased a whirlpool tub and later on realized that I wasn't allowed to do the installation myself in my condo. I'm hoping someone on here is able to install the whirlpool tub. I don't mind prepping the room for you.
I can be convinced to buy the wall tile through you as well (if it is cheaper).
I also have other potential work in my condo that needs to be done at a later date and I would like to establish a relationship through this project.
Thank-you.
Joe
My master ensuite is suffering from some poor workmanship. Our home is less than seven years old and we have some drywall rot near the floor on both sides of our corner-mount shower.
You will also notice (see attached plan) that our vanity is very close to the right side of the shower, making a partial removal necessary. The vanity is modular (3-piece) with a one-piece kick-board.
I’d like to have you provide me with a quote with a few options.
BASIC
1. Remover left vanity section and shower enclosure; repair drywall to finish painted state; repair/replace shower tiles and original enclosure to a finished state (as new).
2. As stated above, except REPLACE shower enclosure with a new custom 5/8” to ” thick tempered glass shower enclosure making MAXIMUMM user of available space.
3. As above except replace white tile with stone tile to compliment floor tile.
Additionally:
• Quote cost to install electrical outlet near toilet for installation of Toto Washlet seat.*
• Quote cost to install ceiling fan in Master Bedroom.*
* Wiring via immediately accessible attic.
If you want to fax the quote, you will have to call me first so I can switch the line over. Alternately, you can either call me to pick up and possible explain the quote, or you could “PDF” and email or send it via regular mail.
We currently have a walk in shower stall which has tiles all around and has a shower base. We would like to replace all the tiles and either replace the shower base with a new base (if new base is available) or replace with tiles on the floor. In addition, we would like to install new shower tower (also called shower panel system). Lastly, we would like to install an exhaust fan just outside of the shower stall as there is no ventilation in the bathroom other than windows.
I have a small shabby condo-townhouse. I want to make a small bathroom in the semi-finished and very ugly basement. I'd use part of the space in what is at present a storage room. There is no window. I want a toilet, washbasin and bath/shower or just shower, a fan and heater. All simple, functional but tasteful. It means building the walls etc/ into the space. I haven't any plans set down as yet. Please give an approximate estimate for the work. I don't want to spend a fortune.
I am adding a small bathroom in my basement where there is currently a laundry sink.
I am planning to add a shower, a toilet and a vanity/sink. It will be a 6'x7' bathroom. The main water waste pipe ends up in the bathroom area and I am going to boxed it with drywall. The walls and ceiling are not finished (no drywall) and the floor is concrete.
I am looking for a licensed plumber to do the rough in for the toilet and the shower. The plumber will do the rough in and I will do the remaining work myself. I want to have it done as soon as possible but I am flexible. Some pictures attached.
Could you please give me an estimate (material and labor) for the rough in?
A new tub/shower with oversized tiles, a new vanity and flooring. Aproximately 55sq ft. The sink and vanity are outside of the toilet and tub/shower area with a dividing wall and door. would like to replace the door with a newer more modern one as well. Townhouse was built in 1988, we need to remove the original tub and shower insert in the ensuite bathroom. We would like to have mid range quality materials and our total budget would be between $5-$10K max.
Renovation of Small Bathroom with no toilette (the area is 3 foot by 8 foot)
Items that need be done:
-installation and new vanity (36 inch)
-installation and new toilet
-new lighting
-moving some pipes
-drop down ceiling
-installation of fan
-drywall and paint
-simple sliding door (may require some minor changes to framing)
Thanks and let me know to include more detail.
We have a fibreglass bathtub in our 2nd floor washroom. The bottom of the bathtub started off soft in a corner but over the last few weeks the soft spot has expanded to the whole bottom part of the tub. I do not see a leak anywhere. I need a quote on how much it will cost to repair this problem and what exactly the problem might be.
Thanks.
I'm open to a custom build or install or a pre-built shower but interested in a consultation and quote.
It would be around 5' by 3' and however high makes sense. I'd like as well some smart features like the Kohler DTV+ but open to other brands if they allow app-based or voice-based control.
Timing in the new year and it's part of a overall master bathroom remodel.
Thanks
Kevin
Need renovation of small three piece bathroom, 5.5' x 7'. Corner shower needs to be retiled and glass replaced (it currently is not sealed properly and leaks onto the floor). Corner vanity (currently 24"x23"), toilet, and vinyl flooring (on slab) needs to be replaced (with ceramic tile) along with molding and quarter round. The flooring will extend outside the bathroom (by about 25 sq ft.) to the adjacent entryway from garage.
Bathroom shares a wall with the garage. A pipe that feeds the garden hose connection in the garage on the shared wall has a shut off inside the bathroom. This valve has dripped and the wall around the valve is peeled and moldy. The drywall will need to be ripped out and replaced on that wall (and the pipe connection fixed).
This is a 1968 Campeau split level. Bathroom is on lower level on slab just below grade. Am planning to put the house up for sale and want to have the bathroom done for that reason.
Hi There,
I need a a Tub installed cement board put up and possibly tile.
The bathtub area is currently stripped down to the studs.
Old tub still in place standard 60x30x15".
I'm looking to replace it with an American standard marina cadet tub
Not purchaced yet.
60x30x19" so the faucet would need to be moved up also looking at possibly having another shutoff valve installed. So need a plumber
Cement Board put back up and possibly tiling.
Tiling would be the just the tub/shower alcove area 60"x30"x not quite 6.8' high. Plus a roughly 5" secion running the length of the floor to the ceiling.
I would like to have a quote for both with and without the tile.
Also looking at the possibility of putting in a "quiet" bathroom fan
I have the tile and all faucets and drain assemblies

I've been renovating my master bathroom but have run out of time to put towards it. A vanity was purchased but has not been installed. The vanity is a vanico brand (classic collection).
Noticed the wall is not as straight as I would like. There is a concave portion to the wall in the middke of the vanity placrment. The wall was not touched during renovations so it's the original construction. The floor is flat but does have a small incline towards the outside wall where one end of the vanity will be.
What would be the cost for installation?
I have dismantled most of my walk in shower and need to have it re-tiled. This is an angled 3' x 3' shower (approx 7' tall).
I have already removed the back board and all tile on walls, except for ceiling.
In addition to re-tiling, the following needs to be considered/completed:
- Assessment of current plumbing and any required upgrades to support new fixtures
- Current fiberglass pan needs to be removed (currently free from drain but angled shower entrance making it difficult to remove) and may need to be cut...?
- Shower floor to be tiled this time rather than installing a new pan
- Would like to use a good quality/attractive tile (possibly a travertine style) throughout shower
- Would like inset/shelf built into tile (for soap etc...)
- Shower entrance requires a door. Would prefer some sort of glass door but want to keep cost down. Hopefully no more than $500 for glass doors
- Would like to have assessment of feasibility for transfer of existing wall-based shower head moved to ceiling in shower
- Pending the above, existing light fixture in shower to be moved elsewhere (possibility of lighting from sides of shower or shower head fixture in center of a light "ring"...)
- Adjoining wall to rest of bathroom holds cabinet. Since wall is now open, would consider suggestion on replacement of cabinet.
