Hi,
My tenant says that the master bedroom bathroom exhaust fan isn't working. She says that there is no suction, and makes almost no noise at all. The other bathrooms in the townhouse are working fine. Just the one in the master bedroom having issue.
There is no dehumidistat controlling it, and she tried putting a tissue up at the grill of the fan, and it does not suck it.
What is your rate for repair/replacement.
Thanks.
I need a licensed contractor to install a new fan in a bathroom that has never had one. The bathroom is on the top floor of our house. It has access from the attic for wiring, ducts etc...
There is an existing vent in the ceiling of the closet in the bathroom that does nothing, but maybe the fan could be ducted to the roof vent that is being used by the vent in the closet.
Our bathroom lights have been flashing on and off whenever we turn the lights on for about two months now. We thought it might be the light switch so recently we tried to replace the switch, after turning the circuit breaker off first of course. However, when we tried to turn off the breaker, we can hear a 'sizzling' noise from behind the breaker panel. We are obviously not electricians but even we can tell that there is some issue with the circuit breaker(s). We know this is a small job but we think one or more of the breakers need replacing. Can we get a quotation (and a schedule) for this job?
Thanks.

So now I have the outlet hanging out of the wall by the wires and need someone to fix it or replace it.
We are renters, there is a major problem we have 2 boxes everything hooked up to old panel the breakers keep blowing the box smokes at times. outlet sparks occur.

Hello,
I need a licensed electrician to move a kitchen outlet 12 horizontally (to accommodate some kitchen cabinets). I live in Surrey at 84th and King George. Please contact me if:
(1) you are licensed
(2) you would you be able to give me an estimate for this job
(3) you would be able to do the job either in the evening or on the weekend. (I work during the week)
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
We need an Electrician to reroute main underground lines of house. I am attaching the PDF that contains the details of rerouting. The first page describe the present and proposed route. The lines in black are present and lines in green is proposed route. The second page tells the approximation of material in meter length needed.
We will get the digging work done by self by providing the digger. Electrician just have to lay down wires correctly.
We have also already talked to BCHydro. We first tried that if they should do it. But we have been told by BCHydro that as it lies within a private property, it needs to be done by owner itself only.
Reason of rerouting: Need to create basement egress door.
Best Regards
Tejinder
1. a three way switch by the inside garage door to work with a switch by another door on the other side of the one car garage.
2. a second motion sensor outdoor light to work with one already installed.
3. change plugs and light switches to newer version on 15 plugs, 2 single switches, 1 double switch and 1 rheostat.
We are getting ADT service installed at our home and require some wiring done for external cameras. We will need job completion by May 31, 2018.
1) Front porch has 2 outlets connected to a switch. One of these outlets need to be converted into a straight connection while keeping the other one on the switch (if possible)
2) Back entrance has 2 outlets on ground level that need to be moved higher by about 5 feet OR add a new power outlet higher up
I want to finish a basement ceiling with drop ceiling tiles, finish one wall in the laundry room (drywall furred out over existing) and add 6 pot lights, I have 3 existing fixtures now. I will require a trades ticket/permit for added electrical fixtures. I am also contemplating some work bench/table and Drawers/Cabinets.
We had a house inspection today (OCT 20) and we need a quick estimate from a qualified electrical contractor to give us an estimate on Friday morning (Oct 21 or Sat Oct 22) on the following issues that were noticed by our inspector.
Signs of overheating in main breaker panel shows black burn marks
Loose wire inside panel
Misc lights not working
Bath tub motor not working
Sorry for short notice but we an estimate quickly as we are buying a home. Only email back if you feel you can provide free estimate of work that needs to be performed. Please provide your website address and credentials.
Thanks...
Looking to have a basic light pendant installed over our dining room tableclick here
Also installation of 1-2 dimmer switches. Please let me know what the estimated quote would be.
Looking for a certified and insured electrician that can help us install 9 pot lights (3 or 4 inches) in our family room. Its a finished ceiling with the master bedroom right above.
A light fixture right in front of the fireplace can be used as power/switch source without running an extra home run to the breaker. I believe fishing the wire is required.
We're looking for 3000k LEDs.
We'll patch ceiling works ourselves so only electric work is required.
There is already a subpanel in the basement but it needs to be upgraded and hopefully the wire to the subpanel is good enough for that. The dryer will be going about 20 ft from the sub panel and i'm not sure how to get it there. There is a 60amp breaker on the main panel that will probably need to be changed too.
I need 6 pot lights installed in a kitchen ceiling. Ceiling is drywalled and below a second floor.
I also need a new washer and dryer hookup done in a den which we are converting into a laundry room. The den is right next to the garage where the breaker panel is located. The garage has an easily accessible attic and the den's ceiling is being removed.
I need a quote from certified electricians who are able to pull a permit from the City of Surrey. The scope of the work involves wiring for a secondary suite (586 sq ft) and an adjacent flex room. The wiring will include a subpanel located in the suite, the fire alarms, electrical boxes for 2 bedrooms, one washer and dryer, one bathroom, one kitchen and one living/office room as well as baseboard heating.
I have removed an electric baseboard heater and would like its exposed wiring sealed properly into the wall as well as the power supply from its thermostat disconnected (thermostat supplied that heater only). I would like a ceiling fan/light fixture removed and relocated and I would like a new light fixture installed where the ceiling fan was.
I have a bunch of misc things around the house I need help with.
In no particular order they are:
1. remove and re-grout tile (& caulk) around bathtub
2. repair and fix grout around 2 loose kitchen tiles
3. Replace seized bathroom fans in two bathrooms
4. level and install tip bracket for stove
5. level refridgerator
