I'm looking for a licensed plumber and a licensed electrician to help with an en suite bathroom and walk-in closet project at my home starting in May.
I am a D.I.Y type of guy, I grew up in the home improvement industry as my parents are general contractors, so I have many years of experience with plumbing, electrical, framing, insulating, flooring, boarding etc... However, I am not licensed to do electrical /plumbing work and the City will only issue a permit to a licensed contractor.
The en suite and walk-in will be from the master bedroom, located on the second floor of a townhouse unit.
I would like to save costs my supplying materials myself, and roughing-in plumbing or electrical work, or doing as much as possible so you have to do less.
Plans illustrating what I want to do are available.
If this is a project you can work with me on please contact me.
This project's goal is to diagnose and repair the parkade ramp heaters. Currently one of the heaters (radiant heater under concrete), is working but two other heaters are causing a breaker cut off as soon as turned on.
We need to diagnose the problem and possibly repair it without removing the whole concrete and or overlaying a new layer of concrete. Minimal concrete work is fine.
I am getting fluctuating voltage throughout the house since Hydro changed over the meter. They say it is a panel problem and won't come out until an electrician certifies that the panel is OK.
I can pull the cover and have it all ready for inspection. All I need is a piece of paper saying the panel is OK.
This is not an emergency job, and can be fit in at your convenience.
