After tedious searching, and recommendation from a close friend who also had their home built with them, we went with Keen Builders because it was one of the biggest decisions we would have to make and we needed a company that we could fully trust and rely upon for after build support. We also choose Keen because we have been in some of their other projects they made and were satisfied with what we have seen. They involved us During the build process, and they were very professional, friendly, prompt and up front about each stage of the work with detailed change orders.
We appreciated their organized style and prompt replies with choices and information and we Highly Recommend them to others.

Keen Builders has received complaints from their suppliers and/or creditors
Complaint: I was contacted by Keen Builders at the beginning of August because they had fallen behind on a demolition job that they were working on in Edmonton, AB. The representative who called me had a rented excavator on site and needed an operator to complete the work. I sent an operator to their job site 3 days in a row, totaling up to an invoice of around $880 which was sent to them in the last week on August. Three months later, today, I finally get an email back after numerous attempts to contact them by phone. They sent me a backcharge of $1250 for 'damaged wooden sides on a dump truck'. These wooden sides are comprised of 2x10 wooden boards which cost about $15 each at Rona. These wooden sides are installed on dump trucks for that exact reason; there is little clearance for a small excavator to load a dump truck and they are very commonly hit. $1250 is an astronomical number.
Keen builders has stated that due to this backcharge, my invoice is void. Me doing another company a favor on short notice resulted into lost money paying my employee, as well as three days of work that he could have been doing for me lost.
Contractors beware.
