We cannot get our refund from RONA in Port Hope, ON. We ordered a “WPINE Match Patt” shiplap product on July 7, 2023 and paid with Visa, but returned it on July 25, 2023. Dan Chevrie, Branch Manager, assured me (on several occasions) the “cash refund: C02799/8” in the amount of $534.04 was forthcoming.
It’s October 12, 2023 and we still don’t have our refund. I’ve spoken to Dan several times on the phone, once in person and have sent multiple emails which go unanswered. I have been assured our money will be refunded. I’m told, “hang tight, it’ll be there” but I’m getting tired of waiting and now it’s difficult to get a hold of him. I feel like RONA, Port Hope is “ghosting” me?!
I wouldn’t advise shopping at this Rona location. They seem disorganized. What should be a simple bank card credit has become a months-long headache.

They were prompt in replying to my request and sent someone to quote-however I never received the quote nor heard from that individual again. When I called Rona Doidge back and explained, they sent another contractor out who did the job the very next day! The price was reasonable and the quality of the job done was very good. I would use them again.
