EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS!!!! We are extremely satisfied with the work that Cornel provided. Cornel is a TOP QUALITY contractor. We are very picky and particular and Cornel pays attention to detail, he takes pride in his work, he is principled, reliable, and produces top quality work. When we noticed a few minor areas that needed touching up, he quickly returned and did the touch ups. I can't express enough how happy you will be with his work. When he gives a quote, there are no surprises or added costs!

In two days he installed the laminate and painted three ceilings. He also made some wall repairs and fixed the seal around two sinks.

Cornel finished in time and budget as we discussed and cleaned the job site. He was very nice to come and picking up the key and material from my work in Burnaby. This reduced a lot the stress of the renovation process.

He did two projects for us: skimming the popcorn ceiling, and refacing an old brick fireplace, which included installing stone veneer, tiling the bench, re-finishing the frame, cutting a new mesh screen, and cleaning and painting the inside.

He did the first job on a short notice, very efficiently, and at a very reasonable price. The end result was just perfect and beyond any expectations. In addition to his excellent workmanship, Cornel was extremely careful about the surroundings and keen to minimize the disruption to our everyday life (as job was pretty messy and also required running noisy dryers between the coats, since it was done in the middle of the rainiest season).

The second job was much more involved and required detailed planning and careful material selection.

The project was very well thought through and organized. Cornel stuck to the schedule, showed painstaking attention to detail, kept the work area as clean as possible, and his finished product was a beautiful fireplace, which looks completely new and stylish, and we are now very proud of it!

Cornel was an absolute pleasure to work with. He is very professional, polite and very skillful. He finished my backsplash in a very timely manner (although the tiles were really large and difficult to install) and kindly agreed to do mud one of my walls for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to do renovations.

I found Cornel great to work with. I did some of the demolition myself and he was happy to work with that, and gave me some good advice for the work I was doing. He did a great job patching up my drywall and smoothing out my popcorn ceiling.

Cornel was a pleasure to deal with. Polite, responsive and professional. From time the scope of work was finalized for our renovation, Cornel completed the job in a very timely manner.

He took time to explain the work that he was doing and the materials that he would use. He also offered up his expert advice/ tips for the work that I was undertaking myself.

Following completion of the work when an issue appeared, Cornel was there the next day to address. This was a testament to his word of standing behind the work that he does!

We had a tricky bathroom project in an old house, replacing an old shower, toilet and bathroom floor. We had a variety of ideas and were confused by the many options. Cornel gave us excellent guidance on how best to proceed. He performed most of the work himself and the two sub-trades he used (glass and plumbing) were always supervised by him. There was excellent communication throughout the process. Cornel's attitude was always patient and respectful. He was singing or whistling while working (not cursing or grunting like some other contractors we've experienced).

The result was excellent and we are very happy with our beautiful new bathroom. There were no cost overruns.

I originally contacted Cornel to have a look at my shower floor, which had an improper slope and water pooling in one corner. He was prompt, professional and communicative throughout the process. The work was finished on time and the end result was excellent. Cornel takes great pride in his craft and I would happily recommend him to anyone that needs tiling work done.

We hired Cornel to replace our kitchen floor with tile. The main thing that impressed me was that he insists on doing a good job. He takes pride in his work and only wants to do the best job - if you want to cut corners, he won't even take the job! He's a man of his word and honors his commitments. He completed the job ahead of time despite an unexpected delay.

All renovation projects run into unexpected issues, and when ours did we discussed the issue, the additional labor and material cost and the project proceeded without much delay.

We're very happy with the result and would hire Cornel again in the future without a doubt.

I emailed Steopan Remodelling through TrustedPros late on a Wednesday night. The reviews and pictures were very impressive. The next day Cornel called me to discuss my project. By the end of the day he had given me a price and answered all my questions. On Friday morning he and Marius arrived exactly when he said they would and started preparing the floor.

They worked quickly and efficiently, but also were very patient in explaining every detail and letting us hand pick each tile placement. The next day they returned precisely at the expected time to grout and finish the job.

It became very clear that Cornel’s top priority is to give the absolute best result to his customers. Even for this small job in a tiny bathroom, we were made to feel like their most important customer. The result is excellent - we’re now talking to Cornel and Marius about working on other projects with us.
