Hi guys,

Wanted to get some feedback from quality contractors.

I've been in the contracting business for over 18 years. My forte is Closing Deals, not based on price, but on Quality.

I'd like to know who would be interested in having a professional salesman represent their company on a contractual basis (per job basis). My team would be responsible for generating quality leads, determining ideal clients, working with the contractor to determine costs/timelines and then closing the deal.

I'm curious to know who would be interested and how many points you would offer for this service.

Those that are interested (or not), please reply asap as I have several potential projects coming up.

Any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Bill Covell

Hi Bill,

Would you be acting as a representative of my company or would we essentially be sub-contracting for Dr.Reno?

Hi Sawn,

Thanks for the reply. Good question.

I think the best way to go about something like this would be to act as a representative of the company/companies that I would partner with. I believe that this will offer more credability than acting as a third party.

What are your thoughts on it?

Hi Bill

I give any Company 5% of the sale for a referal . I build High End Custom Cabinetry my Company is CA Designer Kitchens you can e-mail me at wholekitchens@rogers.com My advise to you would be to start a team of Quality Craftsmen who specialize in a trade , Break up Southern Ont into zones and give each zone a Group of trades . Think of it like a baseball league . Each area has a team and each team has members with specific talents , You Can't have a team full of pitchers and coaches , you will never win the game .

There for have 2 electricians 2 plumbers 2 Kitchen Companies 2 carpenters ,window installers etc, you may end up with 100 companies in each Zone and if 2 or three Contractors were in charge of each zone and could only hire trades from his zone , I think you could keep alot of people working . Have Monthly Zone meetings and rate all persons involved . If a trade in not doing Quality work the team votes on weather to find a replacement or give the trade one more chance . 3 Strikes you're out in my books . At that point a new trade can be chosen from a waiting list .

I make alot of refreces to baseball because I run a league ,and in doing so I have realized that it's alot like running a company . I also am the Coach of my own team and I have seen how a good atmosphere and positive reiforcement usually leads to a successful team , Funny how sport reflects life . Anyway , Best of luck Call me if you would like a Kitchen Company on your team .

Thanks

Chris Aldred

Hi Bill,

I like your concept and if you have High end quality customer with deep pockets I can cater them. Check my reviews ( All Original).

What I have learned from experience that do quality projects with good margin is more profitable then do more jobs with less margin and kill your self land up with headaches, bad reviews and more stress full and soon be out of business.

I would let the job go but will not compromise on Quality and reasonable profit. I have my own show room in Toronto with flexible hours OPEN ONLY with appointments. I have more referral business then from advertisement.

I can be reached on 647-866-7869 if you have quality leads, Kitchen, Bath, Basement, extensions, additions etc.
