Contractor over contract time

My contractor is now 3 weeks over contract date for repairs to my home for a water damage insurance claim. The work that they have completed is poor to say the least. I'm spending way more money and are replacing materials that they seem to be adding or destroying. What do I do?

If he is being paid by the insurance company, call then and tell them your concerns, and ask them to send you a different contractor.

If you are paying him yourself, and can't get the standard of work you expect, ask him to leave.

Hello!

Did you hire your contractor directly or were they chosen by the insurance company? Many times the best course of action is to contact your insurance adjuster and have them come in to review the work

I agrees with the other answers here. If all else fails, make a claim through small claims court. Good luck!!!
