How much to replace/repair this deck?

Are you Replacing the top and bottom or just one level?

Hi Mary,

Just built one similar to this two years ago approx. 12 x 12 in cedar this will be approx. $ 12k +/- if you want maintenance free composite with metal railings your probably looking at around $ 18k +/-.

I do not build whole decks with Pressure treated lumber anymore (does not last). Should only be used for un-exposed framing members.

Hello,

A basic Presure treated 10x10 low deck would be in the$4,000 range, in composite $5,000 to $6,000, a high deck would be about $1,000 extra. Hope this helps for budgeting. Lots of options to raise or lower.

We would charge about $3800.00 for a P.T. deck of that size.

Ball park for the upper and lower in PT around $12,000.

Beware of quotes that are not in that range.

This deck with helical screw piles, pressure treated lumber, pressure treated railing, stairs, skirt etc. Basically built to match existing. About $7000. Plus $2000 to tear down existing.
