How would you correct this, two roof rafters twisted

Two roof rafters twisted extremely bad, 1 contractor reroof house, siding and electrical. Stated they installed bracings and collar ties and wont have any more movement. Is this really a sensible repair? How can one fix this? Had two contractors state could try blocking them what would you suggest?

I would add an 8' length of lumber matching the dimensions of the trusses. And attach them with 2 1/2" screws. Two every 8".
