Hello everyone,
I have a small construction/renovation company specializing in new construction or additions. Till recent time we have been working with auto cad for drawings preparation and use our imagination/experiences to determent final look of the house aka exterior look, colors, interior finish, moldings, etc; but recently I finally realize I need more more scientific approach to design.
I would like to have some tool to be able to draw my future project in 3D to work with colors, finishes, interior look, etc. I know auto cad has something like this but is it worth to pay such money for this software? Is there anything else out there which could be used for the same purposes?
Let me know if you work with something like this and recommend it to other.
Thanks a lot.
Have you tried Google Sketch up? it is free and not bad to work with.
Google sketch. Attached is an example of a bath I did last spring. It helped the HO visualize what the finished look would be. Moving a wall....adding a door... etc.
Hey, Thank you guys a lot, really nice program and 10 times cheaper ....then alternative. Learning how to use it now.
