When should I request quotes for exterior work for next year?

I have 3 outdoor projects: (1) replace a section of fencing; (2) new deck (has a below grade area); and (3) remove a concrete pad and the remainder of a pool wall (most of the pool is already gone) that is heaving (previous owners left is as a retaining wall).
I really have 2 questions:
- When should I get quotes (this fall, next spring, etc)?
- Depending on price we will be doing one or all of the above projects. What type of contractors should I be looking at that can do all of these projects?

Hi there,
Its always good to get quotes before snow fall for spring 2018 projects. That way if you sign a contract you are prioroty for beginning of the season.

Hello Chris & Diana,
It's best to get a quote before the winter. If you get a company who can specialize in all 3 aspects of your outdoor project you would most likely get a better quote.
