Hi Chris,

Sqft cost can vary between $.70 - $2.00 it really depends on the design.

Composite you can expect the cost to double as composite decking (eg. Trex) it much more involved to work with. It's also double the price for material costs alone.

Composite decks come in two types; PVC composite which is a 100% plastic and therefore won't wick water like wood or wood fiber composites (Trex, etc) will. This wicking shortens the expected lifespan.

Whichever way you go, defintely do your research on each product. This is a good straightforward site to take a look at. The second one breaks down pricing ranges.

Hope this helps!

Hi,

It depends on design, height of the deck, type of railing; but regular pressure treated deck starts from $50 per sqft and Composite deck starts from $100 per sqft.

Sincerely
