I recently purchased a house and would like a quote for the following renovations,
1. Interior Painting
2. Kitchen Renovation - I would like good Granite countertops
3. Door for the master bedroom's bathroom
4. Quote for basement renovation - Currently the basement is finished, but it does not have any Rec rooms, I would like to renovate it to include a Rec room
5. Quote for a fancy deck - Currently there is no deck in the house.
Our home is a nearly 1100 square foot bungalow built in 1977. We would like to renovate our home to 1) improve its flow and functionality, 2) update it, and 3) increase its overall value.
We have provided scopes for two projects – an interior remodel, and an exterior remodel. Priority is completing the interior remodel, but we would like to understand costs (and timelines) to complete both scopes.
We have two concerns with the main level that may require troubleshooting/repair. Specifically, we know there was a dishwasher leak more than a decade ago, and the subfloor may need to be replaced. Second, there appears to be water-damage to the dining room drywall (we suspect from a previously overflowing eavesdrop).
We are open to all types of suggestions to optimize functionality and minimize cost. We are willing to assist with demolition/painting, etc.
Interior Remodel
1. Create/expand mud room at back door
2. Remove half wall between kitchen and dining room (suspected non-load bearing)
3. Remove wall between living room/kitchen (suspected load bearing)
4. Reconfigure/redesign kitchen
• Large island
• Soft-close cabinets
• Backsplash
• Quartz countertops
• Stainless steel appliances
5. Replace front door (with sidelight)
6. Remove floor-to-ceiling wood beam divider (non-load bearing)
7. Replace all interior doors (rooms/closets)
8. Replace bathroom vanity
• Level bathroom floor
9. New hardwoord (or laminate) floors throughout main level (tile/linoleum in washroom)
• New baseboards and trim
10. New paint throughout
11. New light fixtures
12. Carpet or terrazzo (reazzo) basement stairs/floor (we are open to other durable options)
Exterior Remodel
1. Re-sod yard
2. Build tiered flower beds along exterior walls
3. Build pergola over patio
4. Repair/replace patio stones
5. Replace entry door to garage
Questions
1. What is estimated cost for each project? Is there an option for a discount if we do both?
2. What is the estimated timeline for each scope?
3. When could construction begin?
4. What is the warranty included with the work?
5. Is furniture included in the redesign of living room/dining room? If not, is guidance included in the quote?
6. How much contingency is built into the quote?
1. Drawings and Blueprints
2. Engineer stamped plans
3. Building Permit
4. Excavation of site prepared for the new addition
5. Concrete work that is required for the addition onto the home
6. Complete framing of the new addition along with the engineering and install of new rafters on the North side of the house, the total roof would have new shingles installed
7. Complete removal of all the inside walls as indicated, flooring and demo of all necessary areas
8. New kitchen cabinets as per drawings
9. Moving of all of the plumbing as necessary to incorporate the addition and the new layout along with new fixtures and washroom as per example
10. All flooring to be replaced
11. Replace front door assembly to accommodate for wheelchair access and review front entrance to allow for ease for access into the home
12. Dry walling all areas as necessary based on the new addition and repair all tie in areas and a complete paint job inside
13. Tie in new addition to the existing outside finish to the best match possible
14. Electrical work to accommodate the new addition along with refitting for all other areas as necessary
8 year old house. Looking to extend side wall of kitchen area to add sq. footage and build a side room for in-home office. Kitchen cupboards are in good condition and can be re-used providing we can purchase the same materials (Kitchen Craft cabinets). Looking to add more cabinet and drawer space, as well as an island. Very open to design ideas, but wanting to keep it simple and not too extravagent. Looking to extend side wall of house out 10 feet, with an additional room (10 x 10) to the side for an in-home office (does not require closet etc.). Will need to add windows to both the kitchen and den. Would like to have garden doors in the kitchen area. External pictures of the house are attached but can send more pictures to interested parties - addition would be on the left hand side of picture. We would complete some of the finishing work ourselves (i.e. painting, installing wood floors etc.), but require help drawing the plans, and completing the construction stages.
I had a water pipe burst in my home and I'd like a qoute for 3 different areas in my home.
My kitchen and small bathroom requires a new subfloor and vinyl flooring.
My basement needs a drop ceiling subfloor and carpet or vinyl as well on the stairs.
My 3 bedrooms is an option if funds are available. I would like laminate flooring and heated insulation underneath the laminate for my 3 bedrooms.
Small kitchen (12 x 7 ft), needs
1. new flooring (tiles) - currently there's old vinyl over hardwood floor + make new trap door in floor for accessing crawlspace beneath - opening is currently under sink which makes it hardly accessible
2. some drywalling (a part of wall behind cabinets and ceiling - there are some bumps and holes in ceiling)
3. rearranging (remove the part of cabinet where dishwasher should go) and repainting kitchen cabinets to darker color
4. installing a dishwasher and built in over the range microwave
5. new counter top + new single kitchen sink instead of double sink we currently have
Small kitchen in 1.5 storey old st vital home built in 1950's
Looking to revive the kitchen by:
-updating the cabinets (no layout changes required, just change the exterior appearance)
-installing a new countertop (not high end marble or granite or anything, just something functional that looks nice, is affordable and updates the appearance of the kitchen),
-replacing the sink (have one to install) and faucet (have one to install) (you would be responsible for installation, but not supplying the materials)
Possibly:
-installing a tiled backsplash (depending on cost; we could supply the materials if it's more cost effective)
-undermount cabinet lighting (depending on cost)
-extending countertop further (underneath a window...no new cabinets required) to create a breakfast bar (depending on cost)
-adding a lazy susan to 1 cupboard (depending on cost)
Bought cabinets from ikea. Looking to get it install and removal of old cabinets. About 8 cabinets in total plus countertop, appliances, sink, etc. Want it at the same location. Also looking to get carpet install about 710 sq feet. Need old carpet remove. No furniture, all room empty. How much will the kitchen and carpet install be?
I have an existing 12 by 16 kitchen with cupboards on 2 walls. I would like to change it up completely and have drawings prepared of what I want my finished kitchen to be. My house is old, the plumbing will need to be re-done to change the sink location as well as install a dishwasher. The electrical will also have to be updated to accommodate lighting and more power outlets as well as the range relocation. Wall are plaster and lathe with 9 foot ceilings. I want the walls and ceiling redone with drywall.
I recently purchased a new home and am planning a full kitchen renovation for as quickly as possible upon possession of June 5th. The home was built in 1965. There will be approximately 23 linear feet (5 x 13 x 5) of cabinetry required and I would also like the quote to contain estimates for both with and without the addition of a 4 foot island.
I am interested in a white maple, shaker style cabinet with a full overlay. Appliances will be purchased separately and will include a wall oven and cooktop. Flooring will also need to be replaced.
The quote is needed as soon as possible as the financing is coming from my mortgage lender and they require an accurate quote ASAP. If additional information is required please feel free to contact me anytime.
We have a kitchen that we want to be renovated. The dimension is 10.3 x 13.11 ft. We are planning to replace the cabinets, counter tops, install a range hood, change the flooring, have the walls painted, repair a broken window hinge or replace the window.
The house was built 1979 and I suppose the kitchen was renovated a few years ago when we got the house but we want to change the look and upgrade the cabinets and other things. Quality of work and materials is our main priority.
We want to renovate the kitchen in our home built in 1972. The kitchen is 12 ft ,3 in x 12 ft ,3 in. We are wanting to redo it all. Appliances will stay however we want to take down the wall as best we can between the kitchen and living room (most likely supporting wall so however this can be accomplished to open it up and put and island/breakfast bar). This might require some rearranging of the fridge and also putting in a pantry.
We would like white cabinets, quartz or granite counters, subway tiles for backsplash, sunken sink.
20"X16" or 320Square feet. This space is currently set up as a normal kitchen however we are looking ot run programs in this space and would require that it be remodelled to commercial usage. Seamless countertops perhaps stainless steel cabinets with the ability to be locked as well as stainless steel appliances. An Island prep area would be great as well as a smallish walkin cooler.
Hi, I'm interested in removing a wall in my condo. it is not a supporting wall, but does contain electrical within (intercom, light switches, power outlets.) It is a corner wall from the kitchen to the living room approx. 4 ft each. Just wondering if you have certificates of insurance and WCB (condo manager requires) do you have an approx. cost of this project? Thanks in advance

We would like to redo our 1992 kitchen from blond to white. We would like to move the sink, take out one wall, open up another wall, take out some built ins in the family room, repaint, new floors. We have owned the home since 2007.
The area covers approximately 500 sq. ft.
There would be some plumbing work. Also, some carpentry (perhaps adding a beam where we hope to take out a wall. You would also have to do the demolition.
I would like to knock down a 7 foot wall that I believe is load bearing and have a supporting beam installed. I say, "believe" because I just purchased the house but do not have possession yet so I am unable to double check the way the ceiling joists run. I'd like an estimate based on the worst case senario of it being a load bearing wall. The house was built in 1924. I'm sorry I don't have much more info than this. A city permit would be preferred.
I realize it is unfavorable to provide a quote to a project that you cannot see right now, but I need rough quotes in order to apply for the funds to be drawn from the mortgage.
Thank you.
I need some construction done in my home. I would like a someone to come out and do a quote.
