1.kitchen install
Previously used upper and lower cabinets, granite counters and under-mounted sink to be installed and plumbing to be added. New appliances fridge, freezer and stove to be placed with electrical wired appropriately. Flooring and pot-lights and half wall required. Approx size 15x12ft
2. Office
Drywall existing room, door required for access to water heater, add new flooring. Approx size 8x12ft
Required as soon as possible.
House built in1918. Kitchen is 165" by 112" and 94" high. The current kichen counter is about 1960s and poorly done.
We would like one wall (originally an outside wall) to be opened into the adjacent room. Not necessarily the entire wall.
Access to the basement moved to adjacent room to allow more useable space in the kitchen.
Cabinitry and counters to meet a tight budget.
New wiring will be necessary as well. This probably requires gutting the room and redoing it.
My mother wants to replace her dated (1970's) kitchen counter. It is yellow and the previous owner made the backsplash the length of the entire wall (14-1/2 ft long and approx. 2 ft on either side) of the same material as the counter. He also covered the two window sills with the same material. All this needs to be removed and replaced.
I just purchased a new home and need to replace the carpets with hardwood flooring. There is already hardwood in the halls, stairs, dining room and entry way. The hardwood appears to have been refinished but poorly.
I would like to get a quote on completely removing existing flooring (hardwood, carpet and ceramics) and replacing with new hardwood - area is approx 1800 square feet. My preference would be to leave the stairs and have them refinished to match the new flooring.
I would like to also replace the kitchen cabinets, but will do this as phase 2 of the project. I will purchase enough hardwood to do the kitchen floors (ceramics removed later) within the next few months (before summer).
I would like to find a reputable contractor who can firstly complete the flooring replacement, then when I am ready, they can do the kitchen renovation. I will also be finishing the basement at some point (1900 sq feet) and would like to use the same contractor again. I prefer to find someon that I trust to take me through this whole process.
