My propoerty is in Brampton, Semi Detached, 1900 sqft, 8Yrs old, no Prior renos to the house..
I would need detailed estimate for the following:
-Break up of Costing of Material and Labour for the Seperarate entreance and the basement finising for a two bedroom apartment.
-Timelines and your schedule.
-Possibilities if having the entrance from the garage or the side. Not the back.
Also, will you co-ordinate obtaining the Permit from the City of Brampton for digging and the seperate entrance??
Will you obtain the Architectural drawing that need to be submitted to the City of Brampton aas this I believe is a requirment for the permit?
If you think you can complete the above within a resonable time. Please mail me a snapshot why you stand out from the rest.

The project has 3 distinct phases.
1. Removal and disposal of existing fiberglass (pink) insulation and vapour barrier.
2. Framing the perimeter with wood on 16" centres.
3. Insulating with R12 ROXUL and installing vapour barrier.
The house is 14 years old with a poured concrete foundation.
The perimeter is about 182 ft with an area of approximately 1512 sq ft.
The distance from the floor to the bottom of the joists is 7' 7" on average.
The desired timing is for completion by early December.
Also considering installing a subfloor throughout but need advise and recommendation.
5 year old house, basement has been finished within 4 weeks looking for a good quotation for the basement kitchen.
1. With melamine cabinets
2. With MDF cabinets.
Kitchen area is sort of angular one and very small, there would be maximum 2 top cabinets and two bootom shelvs with 1 set of drawers. Looking for quote between $1000 - $1200
My basement flooded, and in the process the carpet was ruined. Drywall in the bedroom has to be replaced (2) walls, may need mould removal, insulation. Vapour barrier needed. Drywall on ceiling needs to be replaced. Bathroom needs redoing, new bathtub, vanity etc, was a leak in bathroom and drywall needs replacing in this area also. Want carpet replaced with hardwood or laminate.
Currently the basement just has paneling and a drop ceiling. Everything needs to come out as we discovered a leak in one of the water pipes and there is extensive mould damage. A plumber is required as well. The house is 38 years old, whole house is 1400 sq feet. Possibly an electrician would be required as well. Really just want everything torn down and basement back to bare bones.
We just bought our first house and it’s a 1961 semi detached. The basement is not to our taste so I want to add new laminate flooring over tiles. Remove the previous wooden panel type wall and add drywall. Add a couple of outlets and ceiling pot lights. I am doing most of the work myself to keep the cost low (recently bought house plus wrath of COVID) but not really knowledgeable about the code so I will likely hire a electrical contractor but plan to do most of the other stuff myself. Looking for online consultations for the job that needs to be done. I do care what goes behind the walls and I am concerned for safety as this being an old house. Willing to put the muscle but tight on budget. Hence looking for online local contractor consultants who know know the Code.
1. Open Concept - No Rooms
2 One Bathroom - (Rough in provided by the builder) - should have a vanity, standing bathroom and toilet seat and tile flooring with some storage.
3. A kitchen with a sink and counter top and cup-board - maximum 8 cup board i.e. 4 above the counter and 4 below the counter (But this is optional if the budget is getting too high)
4. Electrical Points for TVs and lights fixtures
5. Stairs case to be carpetted
6. Please provide separate cost for Laminate Flooring, or Berber Carpets
7. Pot Lights (Optionals - but would like to know the cost if falls within budget) - maximum 10
8 Storage Comparment under the stage or Closet
I would like to know the both - material cost + Labour cost or just one cost with break-up of itemwise (what that one cost include)
9. Time Frame (how much time it can be done)
10. Moving the Dryer and Washer to a separate area which has nearby drainage (no need to dig out concrete) but need to make a whole for the vent and yes electrical point for dryer and washer (electrical board is close this area)
Please let me know asap
Thanks

Hi there, my husband and I are looking to renovate our small basement (about 500 sq ft). We've taken down the existing drop ceiling, and are in the process of tearing down the wall paneling. However, we need an expert to drywall, put in potlights, etc.
Our house is 35 years old.
As of now, we haven't found any problems with the basement (it's dry, no electrical issues, etc).
We'd like to drywall the walls and ceiling, and put in carpet for flooring (though all suggestions are welcomed!).
We have a wood-burning fireplace in the basement that's not being used... we'd like to convert this to electrical.
Although we would like to have this project completed by end of spring, we would rather partner with a company who takes their time and does a good job over one who guarantees simply a "fast-turnaround."
If you need any more info, please let me know.
