Roughly around 800 sq ft in a condo, 80% area carpeted at the present moment. Carpet to be removed and replaced with new floor. Kitchen already has flooring but needs to be removed to maintain consistency in the suite.
Engineered hardwood is preferrable but may look at laminate. Too dark a flooring is not preferrable as walls are cream coloured at the present moment.
Site visit is recommended. Please bring samples (one with some grains, negligble grain etc)
Interested in hearing from contractors who have done lot of condo renovation.
I am looking for my current laminate floor to be changed to engineered hardwood floor. I live in a condo and the living room space is 16ft by 10ft. The bedroom space is 14ft by 10ft and a small halfway 9ft by 5.5ft. I found a color a like from homedepot, the color is Acacia golden and the number is 1000788534.

Have approx 800 square feet of ceramic on main floor hall, bathroom, kitchen and carpet in basement that has stairs approx 900 square feet. Want to put down vinyl flooring approx $2.99 square feet now. Need new baseboards. Also want to take out the flooring in 2 bedrooms and put laminate. Small bedrooms. Would love a quote. Depending on price may only do partial now
I own a freehold, end unit townhouse. I would like to take up the carpet in my living room/dining room area and have hardwood flooring laid (the area is approx. 11' X 24'). I would also like hardwood put up my stairs which has 1 step up and the a landing and then a flight of stairs and then another landing and then another step up, the stairs are straight but they turn on each landing and there is wood rail spindles. I would also like hardwood in my upstairs hallway (maybe 5' by 8').
I have a long hallway from the front door to the back sliding door in the kitchen which I would like to have the floor taken out and put down ceramic tiles including in the kitchen and the powder room. This hallway is approx. 15' long. I am debating on having the whole hallway tiled or to put hardwood down the hall and just have the front entrance, powder room and kitchen tiled.
There is a half wall with eat up counter from my kitchen which looks down into my dining room which I would like to take down so that it would be open from my kitchen into the dining room. There is 1 step down into my living room/dining room.
I presently have hardwood flooring on the main level(Approx.1000 Sq.Ft).
Its creeking at places and is discoloured at places.I am not sure if I want to install scratchproof Laminate or hardwood .I have to make it as soundproof as possible,so that sound does not travel to the basement level. So,a sound retarding underpad is also a must.I am looking for contractors, who will give me ideas to achieve the above results within a reasonable rate.I would also prefer to buy material and labour from the same contractor.
Will require proof of insurance/license, so if you can produced, please do not respond.

The flooring needs to be renovated for living and re-decorating, in the future thinking about sale. I am thinking about 2 colours in flooring, one for the main level and the other for the up stairs. The first floor living/dinning rooms is the only room that needs to be removed and thinking about a laminate finish for approx 250 sqF
The up stairs flooring has carpet and a portion has already been removed, this flooring should be 3/4" in laminate flooring, the upstairs has 3 bedrooms each with closets and a master with a walk in closet. The size of space is approximately 600 sq ft.
800 sq ft (approx) of the main floor of a 35 yr old house including front foyer, living room, dining room, family room and kitchen -- rip up old floors and baseboards and dispose; prepare area and insall new hardwood flooring (interlocking?); put in new baseboards
if we are going to paint the walls as well, which comes first?
thanks

My name is Ludmilla and I need a good professional with competitive prices to install hardwood floors on my living and family room. Please let me know your price for the project.
Thank you
In your FIRST reply, please give rough estimation of:

2) Labour cost
3) Floor delivery method & fee
4) Required completion time
We thank all who are interested, but only the ones who give estimation for the above in their FIRST reply will be considered.
What to fix

- Existing hardwood floor replacement for hallway (~135 sq ft, demo of existing floor required)
- 2 bumpy areas (hump between planks)
- 1 dent
House condition
------------------------------
- ~30 years old
- Particle board subfloor (not very even, need to sand or use other means to make it more level - we do not want to change the subfloor)
Require removal of carpet and installation of hardwood floor in 5 bedrooms (approximately 1,500 square feet). I have existing hard wood in the hall ways, so we will need to match a similar wood for the bedrooms.

The wood that I have in the hallway (and would love to match to) is:
Superior Hardwood 3-1/4" Ash Ebony (Select)
I need a contractor to install hardwood flooring in 3 rooms across 2 homes. In one home, current flooring is carpet and in the second home the current flooring is laminate. We are upgrading as an investment as we are selling both homes very soon and so we're looking for a reasonable price to make it worthwhile.
As of right now, I have not purchased the materials. if you can provide the material in your quote as well that would be great.
thanks,
Roy
