Project consists of: Building
1. 10' x5' floor deck raised 2'-0" above garage floor.
2. one 10' x 8' wall with insulation and drywall.
3. Plumbing fittings for toilet - small pedastal sink - small shower and washer & dryer.

I have detach house, front side is double story but backside I have kitchen and living room on ground floor and that is single story. I want to add on top of kitchen and living room one large living room with one washroom. Measurement may be 12 feet by 33 feet (12x33). Just want to know how much it will cost from permit to finishing. and how long it will take in Mississauga. By the way back side of my house is no house and my back yard is very huge.
Looking to build an addition to a 1961 bungalow to give us a family room, master bedroom with ensuite, powder room, a small office, and expand the entrance (i.e. vestibule). Looking for a general contractor who can manage the entire process from drawings, building permit approval to construction with 3 months or so.
We are looking for a company that can focus on this project primarily, get in and get it done fast. We are planning to live in the house while under construction, so we need a company that can committ to a strict timeline.
Serious inquiries only please. For more information, please send us an email with your company name and website as well as couple of example of additions projects you have done in the past.
Thanks
Lina
Additons to the house.
Have a detached home, with a deck area that is roughly 10x14 ft. Would like to include this into the home. The house is on a raised level. Garage and basement is on street level. Living / Kitchen on the second level with the deck. Would like to include the area under the deck into the basement + the deck itself into the living area.
Financing is not a must. But would be nice.
Also quality of work and reliability of contractors is top priority.

Hello,
We are about to buy a home and would like a very rough estimate on a home addition. The house currently has a carport which seems to be tied into the house framing. We are considering tearing it down and building an attached double car garage (20'x22-24') with a second story room on top. The house already has a door halfway up the staircase to the 2nd story leading out to the top of the carport (at the 1 1/2 story level, if you will) that can be used as an entranceway so the addition's second story room would have high ceilings (as we want the addition to be the same height as the rest of the house.) We are thinking we could use it as a second family room so no plumbing would be required and we are amenable to using baseboard heating and perhaps ductless A/C instead of the HVAC. We are thinking that we would like to have a fireplace in that room as well, if the budget permits.
Finally, the home was built in the 1950s. Its electrical wiring is completely updated but the house is brick and we would very much like to match the existing brick veneer.
We do have pictures of the house if required.
Thanks for your time,
Paul
Site condition is great. There's a dead tree root that must come off. The area is approximately 200-300 Sq Ft behind the existing 2 car garage- takes over a bit of the backyard area. Needs to have a foundation built, + 4 walls and ceiling/roof 10'. I'm looking for the "industrial" look, vs making it to match the house. Must have 1 or 2 large windows and a separate entrance from the side. Has to include a 3 piece bathroom with toilet, sink, and shower - no tub. Electrical, all plumbing, all heating and air must be connected from exisiting house. Add insulation to ensure it's liveable winter/summer and all permits must be obtained from city, as well as build to pass all inspection codes.
Happy bidding.
Adding an addition, next to kitchen(no need to open the wall); currently we have a deck (5 feet above the ground); Replaceing the deck with this addition
1. Dimension - 12 feet width and 14 feet length
2. Solid Roof
3.left side - Solid with with one window
4. Back wall - multiple windows to cover most the area
5. right -side - sliding door + one window + solid wall
6. Need to use four seasons
7. Roof from 9 feet to upto 11feet
Mine is a free hold town home in 20*100 lot. My neighbours homes are bigger than my unit.
Would like to extend the main floor of my home by 200 Sq. feet. I have 9 meters of backyard open space, so I am good legally however yet to get the building permit.
Appreciate a quote for doing this 200 Sq, feet home extension and side walls are already existing as the neighbours unit are larger.
Interested in adding to existing house (approx 50 yrs old). Addition would be 14 by 24 and would include a master suite and bathroom. We are open to suggestions, but our thought is that it would be best to do a single story with a crawl space underneith.
Modifications required to existing house would include converting existing bathroom to a hallway and moving a window in an existing bedroom. There is a tree that would need to be removed as well as a deck and hottub that would also need to be disposed of.
Timing is a priority for us as is economy.
We have a semi-detached back-split house in Mississauga with a partial basement that is only half the depth of our living room (see pictures). There are a few steps that goes from the basement to the living room.
We're looking to excavate and extend the basement about 350-400 square feet, either by creating another level below the living room or digging further down into the existing level basement level, and then extending into the living room. Not sure what is the feasible approach as we will need professional advice. We have the land survey if that helps but not sure how to read this survey though.
We would like finish and add a bathroom, and kitchen if within budget.
We are looking to add square footage to our basement by extending to the back of the house. It's about 5ft deep and 25ft wide. The 1st level of our deck is 7ft deep. We would then expand the width of the 1st level of the deck to the full size of the house. There is an extention of plumbing for the garden hose.
We would need to have proper drainage for the basement extension as the deck will be on top of it. The hvac would have to be expanded and proper insulation. The basement is currently finished. Outside of insulation and hvac work, we can do all interior work. We just want to make sure that everything is structurally sound and waterproofed well. We would like to have the deck expanded as well.
We are hoping that all permits and architectural drawings wold be included in the project. If we can save considerable money out of our budget, we could potentially do the leg work for permits but it is not our preference.
We have a semi detached raised bungalow in Mississauga. We are looking for some ideas of the cost of this whole project.
I would like to replace my deck in the backyard with an addition. The deck is measured 26 feet wide and 14 feet deep. It is essentially the same width as my house. I would like to have a concrete base for the addition and it needed to be the same level as my main floor which is about 3 feet above ground level.
Our plan is to remove the wall between the kitchen/family room and the deck area where the addition will be build. Then extend the kitchen from where it is now into the new addition.
The addition will need to have a patio door to go into the backyard and would like to have lots of big windows. I don't have specific design but would like to talk to the contractor for idea and opinion. I would also like to get a rough cost of just building the extension vs taking the whole renovation which will include the kitchen and tiling
i am looking for an afordable solution in providing a municipal department with detailed drawings of an repair and add on to our homes front entrance. We have gained approval in principal however our initial drawings do not detail finishing and side profiles. We have initial drawings that can be referenced and are looking to provide what has been requested by the planning department. I am hoping to submit the secondset of drawings for July 19th...if possible.
The en-suit will measure approx. 7' x 8'. It will consist of a toilet, sink, and stand up shower. We will need to install a fan. We will be making the walk in closet the en-suit and in order to do that we will increase the room by approx. 2ft so one wall will need to be relocated.
The house is approx. 25yrs old. Located on the main floor almost underneath it is the powder room. However we want to make sure that the water pressure is good in the en-suit. We have all drawings done up already.
My main sitting Room at present is having size of 13x12 fts and before that sitting room I am having entrance room to house size 9.5x8.5 fts (approximately), other side of entrance room, I am having deck of around same size. Entrance to the deck from out side of entrance door or from sitting room to deck. Entrance room and deck facing main road or street to the house. I want to renovating by converting deck to be including in my sitting room, and creating ramp for my handicapped mother.
