We are finishing our basement and need the vent that runs down the middle of the basement moved to one of the side walls. The approx size of the basement is 33' long x 14' wide. There are two options.
1. Run vent along south wall, and connect to furnace that is currently on the north wall.
2. Run vent along south wall and move furnace and water heather to south wall so there is no bulkead going across the basement.
The general scope of work for both scenarios is this:
- remove existing ductwork in basement
- supply and install new ductwork in basement
- remove and re-route gas line
- remove hallway floor return (if necessary, not sure) and install new floor return in the living room.
Option 2 would require the addition of:
- relocate existing furnace
We would like to start work around April 18 or 19.

Hi. My attic requires additional intake ventilation. It is an old house 1960s so the eaves are blocked with brick due to the way the house was built. Therefore need to add additional appropriate ventilation for air intake as soffits air is not been circulated. Attic is 600SQM and uconditoned. No insulation so very accessible.
I have a small job:
Install additional roof vents. The attic used to be open to five row houses. However it is not sealed off, and I want to improve ventilation.
Also there is a hole in the roof. When neighbours had the attic open for a renovation, I was able to see the light shining through. I know the approximate location. My attic has no access, so I cannot double check from the inside.
Hello,
Looking for a certified contractor to run a gas line according to the rules and regulations of the city of Toronto for my newly acquired gas stove. If price is reasonable, I'd also ask to run a line for BBQ,
I also need: A/C maintenance and duct cleaning with anti-mold treatment.
I'd like a quote for these jobs (gas and the rest) separately if you do both.
Thanks,
Olga
Our server room is overheating, we need a quote to have an exhaust vent installed so we can then use a portable ac unit in the room and have it exhaust out the new vent.
the venting we want installed is going to be in a common area in the office building near the elevators so we need the vent to look nice and the work must be meticulous.
should be a small job not very complex.

Reconnect the unit (to a new location)

We are remodeling our kitchen and the range hood is in a different location with the new design. We need to open a new vent to the exterior and connect with ductwork. The hood is on an exterior wall so access is pretty simple. The duct would extend upwards from the hood then exit through the back of the cabinet.
Basement bathroom was recently added during a renovation last year. Bathroom on second floor was also renovated at the same time. The original fan in the 2nd floor bathroom was vented but now appears to be filled with spray foam. There is no evidence of an exhaust fan for the basement bathroom on the exterior of the house. Both fans will need to be vented to the outside.
I am looking to install my 6000 btu window air conditioning unit in my apartment building located at Yonge and Eglinton.
