I have worked under my fathers' company for years and am looking to branch out into my own business. His contracts aren't really that professional or concise. I was wondering if there was a good website or area on this one to see what a few general contractor contracts cover, and what to watch for .. etc etc ... This would be regarding building maintenance, but I think general contractor contracts would help give me the right idea.
Any tips?
Thanks,
What a great site by the way!
Hi,
Make your quotes or estimates as detailed as possible. Clients appreciate it and leaves less room for disputes, should they arise.
Good Luck with your business.

Conduct a general search on the internet ... "Contractor Contracts in ________ (Whatever city, province you are from) to get a clear picture of what is required, especially concerning legal contracts. This is extremely important.
Good luck!
The CCDC website is good. Its very detailed, and it will cost you money to set up with them.
I would suggest you to get it done professionaly. you have to spend some money but i think it is good investment.
Search the TrustedPros directory and discover the best contractors in your area.
