Hi,
My name is Nicky. Our house locates in Etobicoke, ON.
Due to windstorm from beginning of May, my house roof and fence were damaged. they are shingle roof and fiberglass roof; back-side fence and side fence (sharing with neighbors)
Please see attached photos.
We are looking for the contractor who can fix both issues above. It requires:
- remove old fence posts with old concrete footers, remove old fallen shingles, old fallen corrugated fiberglass roof, discard them in job-site waste receptacle
- Install new part of shingle roof, new fiberglass roof
- footing new concrete and install new posts (5 pcs 6x6 and 4 pcs 4x4); reconnect the old fence panels to the new posts.
Please provide your quote which includes both material and labour costs.
Thank you,
Nicky
Hello, I am trying to gauge the cost of this project vs repairing the wood fence. I have included a diagram with measurements.
- 6' privacy fence, it doesn't have to be wood, but I would like to the most cost effective and durable options.
-6x6 posts.
- There is currently a 4' gate opening, I would like an opening big enough to get a small bobcat in the back if ever needed (60 year old bungalow).
- Removal of current wood fence.
- The post spacing can be changed to suit the fence, either increased or decreased.
- I have included a picture of the desired look of the privacy fence, flexible on the look.
- I have included a picture of the current look of the fence.
- I am fairly flexible with most of the project. So, feel free to give me your suggestions.
Hello,
I would like to get a quote to repair/replace a section of fence
The section is about 15feet in total including 1 gate.
There are 3 posts currently in place.
The reason the repair is needed is because the downspout from the gutter is very near one of the posts.
This has caused the post to heave out of the ground during the last couple of winters.
Please contact me by email to proceed with arranging for free quote and timeframe.
Thanks.
I have 2 Fence projects I am looking to complete:
1. Fence/gate next to my garage to close off my backyard. The total length is 80 inches. I would prefer the gate to be standard 42 inches and the remaining amount to be a fence.
2. The fence at the front of my house (right side in picture) blew down over the winter because some of the posts snapped, but we managed to save most of the fence (minus the lattice). The project would require attaching the existing fence to new posts and lattice. The fence is 30ft in length.
Corner lot house, to replace back yard and between the house fence.
looking for 7 ft overlapping with no gaps. Also two 4 feet doors one for back yard and the other for side of the house.
Backyard fence approx 52'/31'/30' with one door
Side of the hose fence - approx 48' with one door
Backyard fence/ corner lot/approx.34' x 43'. Backing onto neighbour/side open to street.
Fence to be constructed on owners property/"L" shaped fence.
10 6" x 6" x 10' P.T. posts
200 1" x 6" x 6' P.T. fence boards installed vertical
10 6" copper post caps
30 2" x 4" x 10' P.T. cross beams
10 post holes dug to approx. 3' depth for posts to be cemented into place
No lattice required, fence to be capped with a 2" x 4"
Site to be left clean.
There is a city order to make repairs on a fence in the backyard. The fence that is there is a makeshft one made of plastic webbing and rebar. The neighbour to the east is concerned because the dogs who live here escaped several times this past summer and she is concerned about the safety of her child.
We need an estimate for post style fence on the east side of property removal of some trash at the side of the house and also an estimate of how much this would cost when shared with the neighbour to the east.
Thanks
Michael
A fallen tree took out approximately 3 X 9 linear feet of chain link fence. Fence is approx 8 ft tall, with sections between posts of 9 ft length. This length of fence has approx 7 sections with three damaged and at least two requiring repairs to resecure to posts. All fence topped by three strands of barbed wire to be be repaired.
Fence length on ravine slope. Picture available on request.
