We are closing the purchase of our townhouse next week, and wanted to redo the 2 bathrooms on the upper level.
At a minimum, we want to replace the vanity set and the existing tub/column shower with a new vanity set and standing column shower in each bathroom. We may want to have the tiles redone (based on budget).
We are planning on buying the materials from costco or other similar locations. But, we are open to recommendations.
Master: 10' x 8'.
tear down and re-tile shower stall, floor, walls. Replace toilet and vanity, paint, install new fixtures and lighting, create door throough one of the bathroom walls to connect to other room. Install exhaust
Full bathroom on 1st floor: 10' x 5':

I am budget conscious. Do not want an spend too much. Just enough to get an updated look for selling it 4 years from now.
Hi,
I would like to get a quote for the repair of our bathroom.
The tiles open up and water leaked inside the tiles and possibly through the wall. I would like to have the tile and bathtub removed, changed the wet portion of the wall and put new tiles and bathtub.
I would like to get a quote/estimate for the aforementioned repair and have it done sooner than later.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
erwin

I live in a small 2 bedroom/1 bath condo on the fifth floor of a seven-story building that is about forty years old. All of our plumbing fixtures seem to be leaking and we want to straight-out replace most of them. We have a new two-tap faucet for the bathroom sink that the previous owner left us and would like to replace it and the vanity with countertop. The vanity with backsplash is 30" long by 23" deep by 32" high and there is an additional layer of tile backsplash above that, which we would like to retain, if possible. We have ideas what we would like for a new vanity, but have not yet acquired one.
The bathroom fan also needs to be replaced - the housing is there, but the fan itself has been disconnected and removed since we have been living here. Also, we have a persistent leak with the bathtub faucet, and though replacing the seals on the handles and building up caulk around the seals has helped, it would be nice if that could be looked at.
Finally, we would like to replace the kitchen faucet, a simple two-tap faucet, 10" x 2" over a double sink. We have not yet bought the new faucet.
We are looking for a ballpark estimate on the cost of these projects. I don't mind very rough if you can e-mail me at least a general range how much this would cost, as we have no idea what the labour on this would be like. If you need more information, please feel free to ask me and I will be happy to oblige. Thank you and have a nice day.
Remove and dispose three shower walls, damaged insulation behind walls, vapor barrier and existing faucet and bathtub. Age of house is 14 years. Bought house brand new and never had any renovations on the washrooms.
Master's bathroom, overhaul renovation. Needs retiling in shower area and bathtub, replace to eco toilet & sink and change counter top to granite, repainting if necessary. Needs over the counter cabinets or shelving.
Main washroom, needs retiling on bathtub walls, change sink and countertop to granite. Currently have a small vanity top only for sink, wants to extend the vanity top over toilet for more table area.
Mainfloor toilet, needs to change toilet to eco toilet. Currently have sink without cabinet. Would lik to change sink with vanity cabinet.
I live on the top floor of a condo. The only bathroom is small and I would like to replace the tub and the tiles. The tub and tiles have been repainted by a refinishing firm and the results have been atrocious. Instead of contacting that firm, and I don't want them back in my place, I've decided to replace the monstrocities. The width of the bathroom is the same as the width of the tub. I would like some ideas and estimates, please.
bathtub faucet and tap require replacement, pipping inside wall will require removal of tile surround in order to replace. This may lead, depending on price and labour hours to a complete remodeling of tub area, and again, depending on price and estimated labour hours, potentially floor tile replacement and counter/sink/ cabinets replacement ("might as well do it all at once" attitude). this all began from the fact that I have had plumbers in at $160 to replace an outdated 5cent washer in my tub faucet as it will not stop running and I've been told that the whole thing really just needs replacing. This is a condo unit, so I need this done well (resale value) as well as quickly (only one bathroom and I have a 2 year old which makes it hard to stay anywhere else during renovation. All quotes welcome, but I would need this taken care of soon, quickly and at reasonable rates. The job may consist only of tap/faucet and tile tub surround replacement, or if well quoted and you are a quick, reliable, reputable, and trustworthy tradesman/ contractor, could turn into a complete bathroom overhaul.
Our house is a traditional side-split from the 1960's, has an old jacuzzi tub in the upper washroom. We want it swapped out for a standard bathtub. We've already purchased the new bathtub, it's the same size and is skirted on the exposed side, so we don't need the lower tiling to be re-done.
Please seeclick here for a YouTube video of the situation.
