Have a 30 year old 1180 sq ft condo in pretty much original condition. I require a contractor with vision and imagination to renovate it to accommodate a person in a wheel chair, without impacting its saleability.
This includes widening doorways, built in closet storage, pocket doors, removing walls, installing new flooring, designing and installation of new kitchen, enlarging a shower, possible bathroom renovations, and all the ceiling, wall, and trim work that goes along with this.
I am a home owner and would like to create a space either in my finished basement or in our 3rd (tandem) garage. (will do whatever works out to be most cost effective and convenient) Currently there is no separate entrance into the basement, but otherwise basement is finished. For the tandem garage space it would need to be converted into office space and a bathroom would need to be created as well.
I require two egress windows installed in my basement. If you could provide me with a quote rough estimate of cost I would greatly appreciate it.
The windows are on two different houses both located in newmarket.
If you provide me with a quote, you will have much more of chance on winning the project

We have a leak from the basement ceiling that we are unable to find the source. We replaced the window which was rotted, and re-trimmed the sliding door on the second level. However, the leak is still there and is causing damage to the basement floors. The leak drips through the floor vent on the second floor to the basement and along the joists.

I am looking at a 3000 sq ft industrial unit of a complex. Approx. 2 years old. No prior tenants. Complete empty cinder block shell, vaulted 2 stories high . Coming in the front door I would like a entry grate with drain (wheel chairs collect so much snow). Heated floor for approx. 8ftx8ft at entrance. Looking at 1000 sq ft to include an open lobby (open ceiling), 10x 10 office, accessible 2 piece wash room, accessible wash room/change area with roll-in shower, and 8x8 staff room with sink, counter and cupboards. All with lowered panel ceilings. These rooms will divide the lobby from the fitness area. In the back, 2000 sq ft will be an open concept gym with open sealing (painted ducts and piping), not sure if I want the walls drywalled or painted cinder block. Two walls will be mirrored. Floor- non slip, water resistant, possibly rubberized. Not looking for high end, just durable. This venture is for a non-profit organization.
Can I get a rough estimate. I was thinking around $100,000. Is this close?
