My property includes a walk out so my deck is elevated. The deck runs the length of the house and is 10 feet out. I want to shrink this to a deck that comfortably sits two and a BBQ and then have steps downward to an interlocking design. We have a leak from the basement ceiling that we are unable to find the source. We replaced the window which was rotted, and re-trimmed the sliding door on the second level. However, the leak is still there and is causing damage to the basement floors. The leak drips through the floor vent on the second floor to the basement and along the joists.
