To whom it may concern,
I am buying a house from a plan and want to see if I should go with a contractor after the house is built or do the changes with the builder. I want the tub ripped out and a stall put in. Do you have an approximate cost if your company was to do the project? I would want glass doors, marble bench, water proof pot light and tiled. It would be the same dimensions as a tub.
Thanks!
Candice
My bathroom has a floor that was built on top of an older floor and around an existing toilet, so the toilet's base sits about an inch or so below the floor and I can't replace it without fixing, or rebuilding, the floor around where the toilet sits.
Do you do that type of job, and would you also supply and install a new toilet?
I live in Oshawa, near downtown.
Hi there: I am looking to get a basic price on a bathroom renovation. The current bathroom needs to be completely gutted down to the studs. new drywall replaced, above the shower there was a cable box (needs to be taken out.) All new tub - toilet and vanity will be supplied . three walls (the width of the tub to the ceiling)around the tub needs to be ceramic tiled (supplied) - the floor needs to be tiled too (other floors tiles supplied) The over all dimension is 5' width by 9 ' long and 8' ceiling. The ceiling needs to be redone too.
My pipes burst because they were on an exterior wall. They have been repaired, but the bathroom will need to be moved or repaired before Fall. I need to know if it can be moved to another location. It was built in the garage and I don't know if a proper floor was put in. It looks like one room just has a subfloor and laminate and then the bathroom is higher so was that for the pipes or for the bathtub? the wall had water damage from the burst pipes.
I need a quote on fixing it, a quote on moving it and a quote on changing it from tub to shower stall only, and a quote on changing it back to a garage and removing the bathroom altogether. I have a new vanity. The one that is there now has smaller pipes than normal so I can't touch that either until everything gets done at once.
I don't know how long ago that bathroom was put in.
Remove existing vanity and replace. Install flooring (vinyl tile or ceramic), install fan/vent, and new tile in shower area depending on cost. Dont have measurements but its a very small bathroom.
Kitchen floor is approx 200 sq ft with standard 10x10 kitchen. Would like to replace cabinets (ikea) and countertops (laminate) flooring (vinyl tile or ceramic ) and backsplash.
28 yr old semi detached @ 1700sq.ft. project desired includes 2 full bathrooms (gutted) all new material installed (except 1 bathtub). exhaust fan req. in 1 bathroom. waterproog, mold free walls & ceiling requested. other projects needed (exterior soffit & Facia) additional electrical for 2-3 outlets.
We want to replace two second floor bathroom fans and vent them through the roof. Venting through the roof is not optional. The old fans where never connected to vent pips or vented outside. All electrical is in place. We have purchased all materials - two Panasonic whisper ceiling fans, venting material, and the proper roof vent, roofing cement and nails.
Need to have an old vanity removed and replaced with the vanity that has been purchased. It is a small corner vanity that cam with a sink/countertop. A faucet needs to be installed and a wall medicine cabinet needs to be readjust unordered to fit the middle mirror of a triumvirate medicine cabinet.
Get back to me with a quote and I look forward to speaking with you in the future.
Have a great day

We need our main upstairs bathroom redone. There is mold near the ceiling. Looking to replace the tub. Might be interested in a separate shower depending on room and budget.
So this will have to be taken down to the studs and probably a new exhaust system to replace the original one. Want new vanity maybe with two sinks and tiled floor and tile in shower area. Present flooring is linoleum. No idea on budget just getting quotes for now.
room dimensions are 9.5' x 15.5'. Currently, 1/3 of this space is walk-in closet, 2/3 is 4 piece bathroom.
new design will be 1/2 closet, 1/2 bathroom (3 piece).
entire area is on top of a clean crawl space
will need to move entrance door over a little. Will also need to cover up one window.
We'd like new wood flooring, but open to alternatives.
considering heated floors, but only if we go with something other than wood floors.
stand-up shower approx. 6' x 3', will want to use large tiles (easier to maintain).
relocate toilet
relocate vanity
My problem all started with a jacuzzi tub. After I purchased my home ( built in 70's) I noticed a leak coming from the ceiling. This is after I had filled my tub with water after replacing the caulking in the tub area. So we realized that we couldn't fill the tub up as the jets must have been leaking. So we've lived with the tub this way for 5 years now. Just recently I noticed brown spots on my ceiling in the living room where the leaks were from before. So the water must be coming through even when we just shower. I would like to get the bathroom re-done and would like to get a free estimate and what it would cost to do:
1) Replace tub
2) New ceramics in tub area as it's acrylic or something now
3) New ceramics on floor
4) Possibly new floors in case there is too much water damage
Thanks,
Amanda
Hello, I'm look for some bathroom work to be done in my house as follows:
1) Shower with window: tiles all need to be pulled down and re-done, including encapsulating the window with the tile with slope. Currently it's wood....so you know the issue.... Tub itself is too high, need shallow tub.
2) Sink with vanity needs to be replaced with pedestal sink.
3) Toilet needs to be replaced with low water toilet
4) Vinyl flooring needs to be replaced with ceramic or something not Vinyl but not as cold as ceramic.
The house is about 40 years old and the bathroom is about 6'x10'.
I don't need anything fancy smancy, or expensive...I just need quality work at a good price.
I am looking to have this done late summer or early fall.
Thanks!
Christine
My bathroom needs to be renovated. Currently there is a jacuzzi tub but it leaks throught the jets down through to the floor below. I beleive the floor underneith may be rotten out. I would like to have the ceramic tiles replaced as they are cracked. I may possiblty need a new sub floor all together from the leaking. My sink and cabinets are fine, I don't need it re painted or a new toilette. Just looking to get the floor replaced along with a new tub. Also, since the tub has jets in it, I need the timer removed from the wall and the wiring removed as well. So some elecrical will be needed for the project.
Due to a leak in our foundation, we've had damage to our downstairs bathroom. As a result, we need at least two walls replaced (we've already ripped out one). We also need the ceiling repaired (drywall is hanging down). In addition, we would like a new vanity, toilet, sink, faucet, fixture, and tiles (all floor tiles popped up from water damage). The bathroom is a 2 pc bathroom and we are not adding to it as we will be moving in the spring. We would just like to repair and update. The timeline for this project can be flexible (preferably in the fall) and can even be done in sections, since no one uses it. However, I would like to get a quote and book someone within the next week or two, so that I know time for our project has been reserved.
I look forward to hearing from you.
