I removed an old SpaceMaker metal shed in my back yard. There was no gravel or patio stones, just dirt as a foundation.
Before I put up my new shed I want someone to dig it down, supply and put in the right amount of gravel, and make a level base. I can do the rest. I have patio stones (24"x30") already.
Size is 12 ft x 10 ft.
About 1 foot of soil clearance all around this space is also needed.
I am interested in placing a Stone Retaining wall for a flower bed in the front of my house. The space is really small (approx. 8x4 ft), as it will wrap my front porch, and I want to keep it a simple "L" shape. I would do all the planting myself and would just require someone to build the retaining wall.
Looking for a landscaper to help to finish a job already started.
What's needed:
Pathway from front door to middle of driveway. approx. 36'x5' interlock
Border stone around drive way.
2 step high front steps.
Garden retaining wall approx 20' wide.
Pathway sidelining retaining wall from middle driveway to side entrance. approx 24'
The driveway has been dug up to 80% where the pathway will go. The border will need to be cut. Area where garden retaining wall and pathway cover has been dug up and gravel is set.
Not looking for high end stones, simple design but will last.
If this is enough for a quote please leave one. It will help when deciding on a contractor. If you have questions please ask.
Thank you
Looking to redesign a slight mess of weeds and dandelions at the front of my house as well as the boulevard too. Picture below.
Would like something that is low maintenance and that will last all year if possible. Open to ideas and something that can be done quickly and will inhibit weed growth as we have a park across the street that isn’t maintained.
Also looking for some suggestions for my backyard which is all interlock but I’d like to add some greenery too.
I've got a 10 by 2.5 feet area at the side of the house (where gas line and ac unit are located) that is covered in grass. I'd like the grass to be removed, landscape fabric put down and then gravel with some 2 by 2 feet stepping slabs. Could you please provide a quote for this work?
Regrading and /or waterproofing of property. We have experienced basement water flooding. Our property is below the 3 adjacent properties, and therefore our backyard is under water whenever there is a major storm. It backs up and then finds a way into the basement. Ideally, before we embark on excavating and resealing the basement foundation, we would like to remove existing concrete slabs, fence, etc., fix the drainage (weeping tiles, french drains, etc.) regrade the property, and resurface property (appropriately packed and screened for interlocking and deck). Winner of this contract will be asked to submit quotes for fence, deck, interlocking, etc.
We are considering adding a pool to our backyard in the future. I will tell you this right off the bat: this is a project that we are very interested in but we are not financially ready for it yet. We may be able to do the project next year or the year after or even later. We would like to have an idea on the costs and implications of such a project so that we are prepared.
The backyard is actually decently sized (33 feet wide by about 50 feet deep) but we have a shed at the back (see pictures). Our patio is currently not great so that would be something we'd like to improve as well. Another challenge is that there is a slope at the end of the backyard where the shed is located.
We prefer fiberglass but will consider other options. For the landscaping we prefer natural stone but we are open to other materials. We do not mind any shape and we would appreciate your advice on the best shape for our situation. We want a heated pool and a built in hot would be a plus but not necessary. Budget: somewhere around $50,000-80,000. Let us know what your thoughts are and let us know if you require any information. I have attached pictures of our backyard including dimensions. I have also included a sketch of approximately what we want.

Hi,
I have a 7.5 x 8 meters backyard patio that I would like to do some leveling work by adding a multi-layered structure where each layer has a minimum inclination set by construction standards to not stop the natural flow of water. This requires adding soil and compacting the ground. In this way I can keep my backyard furniture and BBQ appliance with no inclination hassles.
Another work I need is to build a 6.5 x 2.5 meters patio with wood floor (all options possible - to build a deck or to install outdoor wood tiles on top of a stone ground)
Thanks,
Javier
I need a basic retaining wall (stone or treated-wood) installed to stabilize a sloping front yard and to stop soil erosion from this area. The retaining wall would be approximately 3 feet high at the top end and about 6 inches at the bottom end, with a length of about 10 feet.
Property is located in Scarborough Centre, and the work is available immediately.
Thanks,
Mark
We want new porch stair in kota black limstone 5 feet long by 16 inch depth 6 inch deep
we will need 4 steps
The Walkway will have to be finished to the bottom of the new stairs not much area for this job
We would like the kota black limestone on top of the porch and the side of the concrete slab on the porch.
Replace an existing semi circular retaining wall that is approx. 9 feet in length and 2' 8" in height. The current stairs are 4 steps and is made of cut stone.
I would like the stone wall to be replaced with unilock block in grey. I do not need the material replaced for the stairs just to be re levelled.
The current wall was made from cut stone and cemented together and is now crumbling.
Any other ideas are welcome. Please provide online estimate. Photos provided. I live in a house in central Scarborough. Thanks

Hi there,
We are looking for a labourer to do a small dig/excavation in our backyard. Approx. 10 x 12 area (approx.?) Loose river stones/dirt to be removed/disposed of, and dug down just a little bit so we can lay new patio stones. We are going to use Brock PaverBase underneath (a lightweight panel that replaces bag base and most of the sand normally used) so just about 3 inches deep.
If you can text me, I can send you pictures
Thanks, Jamie
Hi, we are looking to refinish our front verandah, steps and landing. Not sure if we want to go with a patterned concrete finish, or cover with stone or tile.
The verandah is 6'5"X24'7" across the front of the house. We would also need 5 steps and the landing at the base (adjoining driveway)which is 5'X10'.
Thanks,
Bryan
