We are interested in getting quotes for suiting a small basement into a bachelor rental suite. The basement is approximately 650 square feet. It is partially finished; has carpet, finished walls a toilet and incomplete shower. We would also need to create a private outdoor entrance to this suite. We would like to be economical with these renovations ideally spending around 20,000.
We are wanting to install a small kitchen in the basement of a raised bungalow. Space available is 8'11" x approx 12'. Plumbing is in place (full sink). Need to replace all upper and lower cabinetry, install refrigerator and stove (possibly upgrade wiring) and replace flooring in an area measuring 8'11" x 20".
Also want to install door at entrance to lower level (this will be a mother in law suite).
Also want to upgrade all 3 toilets in house to low flow.
1968 raised bungalow. 1350 sq ft up, 1150 sq ft basement.
Thanks!
