We are needing a glass double door supplied and installed and all the conditions around it repaired and painted to match existing. It also requires and small drywall overhead bulkhead with pot light installed to make an entrance functional. This is indoor work within an existing commercial facility. Looking for a quote by a qualified general contractor or small construction company. Its a small job that may lead to larger jobs in the future. Please contact me directly. Location is Downtown Calgary. 3 recent positive references will be required as well as proof of appropriate insurance coverage.
Our Board is looking for quotes for a yearly spring, summer, fall and winter full maintenance program for a 199 unit condo complex in the Northeast of Calgary. The current contract expires March 31, 2014 and we are taking bids for the upcoming year. This could include spring clean-up and a fertilizer program, lawn and grass care through the summer, fall clean-up of leaves and then winter snow removal and de-icing for the complex which covers a whole city block which mean caring for the city sidewalks as well. All units are owner based but have some renters with owners having multiple units. It is not essential that all services are provided but what you offer. We need to have a contract in place shortly after April 1, 2014.
I have a small section of soffit and facia that need to be replaced.
A covered deck that was attached to the house was removed and the area where it connected to the house doesn't have metal facia and soffit coverings.
There may also be a bit of rotten wood on the facia that needs to be removed and replaced as well.

I am removing a load bearing wall and putting in a 22' steel beam. I have the engineer drawings already done.the work to be done would be. To jack hammer out basement area for a 36" x 36" x 10" concrete footing. To remove the load bearing wall and put in the steel beam following the engineer specs.
I have approx. 10 pillars that require stucco.
Plus I wish to remove my siding in the L shaped area plus across another smaller area on the house to have stuccoed also.
The pillars can be framed in or you can also quote to do that too.
The under side of the deck also has to be finished. I would like to have lights and stereo speakers installed and a gas line run.
For retail TI project
Work required : dry wall to create rooms, counter top with drawer and retail shelving, some t bar ceiling on some area, supply of electric and plumbing as per floor plan, data cable provide, glass security grill
Flooring only polish to existing floor, painting.
I just had the house inspected and it looks like the repairs needed will be:
Replacing all of the fire alarms
Fixing a heating duct that will require us to cut through the floor to fix
Replace some curled siding
Painting the outside of the house and going over part of it with 2 layers (part of the house was never painted)
Repainting the basement
Replacing one of the furnaces
Replacing both water heaters
Reinsulating the roof
Fixing the basement electrical (whoever did it did it wrong and it's caused a few problems with lights)
Rewiring to add outlets into 2 bathrooms that don't have them.
Fixing a leak in the kitchen sink and see if wood underneath needs replacing/check for mold
Fix/replace dishwasher
Reseal basement bathtub
Clear out all basement pipes as they make an awful smell and drain slow
Retile moldy basement shower floor
Reseal bathroom toilet
Finish basement stairs (the siding of them aren't finished
Reseal cracks in the foundation of the house, this potentially needs a full scale repair
Leaky valve in the furnace room
Fixing the banister (some of the supports fall out with a small amount of force)
The garage door into the kitchen area needs an automatic hydrolic closer as per regulations to prevent a Carbon monoxide leak if a car is left on
Fixing the back sliding door (it doesn't open unless you put all of your weight into it)
Chimney must be cleaned before use
Repainting the main floor and upstairs because there's hundreds of random unpainted white patches all over the house
Some asbestos removal

Moving in to a new commercial space and require a building permit for our walk-in cooler. Non sprinkler building so don't require sprinkler heads. Cooler is 2x4 construction, plywood floor (painted), 6" rigid foam in floor and 4" rigid in walls. Cooler is partially built. Requires insulated door, window Air Conditioner installation, and electrical run.
Thanks,
Mark
It looks as if our telepost needs height adjustment. The problem is that the ceiling joists are pushing down on the top of the wall framing.
This is very obvious where the ceiling, which is approximatley at a 35 degree angel, meets the top of the main wall. The pressure is building up on the top of the wall and cracking lifting is appearing where the wall and ceiging meet. I can provide pictures to help identify the problem
