Hi Jerica, if its just a basic kitchen and a stand up shower you should expect to pay 30-35k and if its something like in your picture you should expect to pay 45-50k

depending where in the country you live prices will vary in alberta for us to paint 2 coats on walls including prep we would charge 2.25 a sq/ft

Generally speaking the guide is $55-$60/sqf. Again that's just a guideline nobody can really quote you without site inspection/walk through. Your budget can always balloon depending on finish fixtures and detail required as others have noted in this thread.

Hello your basement has some considerable variables with regards to what you're asking for pricing. Depending on whether or not the bathroom is already rough dinner we have to break up concrete could affect the price. Style and cost of linoleum versus tiles versus appliances in your bathroom could affect the cost as well. Kitchen is a whole nother animal as well depending on what you wanted for the night you needed 220 wiring what type of fixtures Plumbing you and with these are all variables with your hard to determine and your price. Generally speaking 800 square foot of basement for flooring bathroom already roughed in all framing drywall to paint stage and ceiling with all electrical included. Our company would be in around $50 a square foot all inclusive but could go upwards depending on some of the variables that we talked about you looking around 40 to $50,000 range for a professional job done

If we are talking about just the flooring:

$2600-$3400.00 + tax just for installation labour, then you need to add in floor material, underlayment that has good moisture barrier because it's a basement, quarter rounds needed around kitchen cabinets, removal of existing flooring. It can run you $8000 + easily with labour and materials.

In Nova Scotia it's about the same you could expect to pay $50 sf for economy finishes, $65 sf for average, and $80-$100 per sf for premium finishes.

Based on the picture you posted with granite/quartz countertop, custom bar, recessed led pot lights, exposed brick walls, etc... $80-100 sf

Without walking though, and seeing in detail what you have existing for electrical and having rough it's. As well as post and been locations.

Then discussing in detail what you wish the finishes to be all i can do is give you a rough idea.

For nice finishes I believe you are looking at 80,000 to 90,000. That would be high end. Hope this helps.

Hi Jerica, we specialize in basement development . I would allow a minimum of 55k to complete and if kitchen required is any where near t=he oicture shown you can add another 20k , bedroom, bathroom etc . are the existing windows to code add another 1500/2000 if need egress window cut in
