I'm looking to have a floor door with stairs/ladder installed into a room on our main floor. The room has hard wood floors and the floor door would lead to a basement pantry, which we currently do not have private access to due to a basement tenant. Below is a link to something similar to what we are looking for. With floor joists being removed there would be structural issues to combat. Is this a job you can quote on? We are looking to have the install during the month of October. Thankclick here

We have all the marble in the unit already, we just need to build a fireplace mantel for a clean burning ethanol fireplace in the living room. dimensions are 9.5 ft high x 4 ft wide x 6 inches deep. Tile setting for show stall floor 4x3 ft and tile setting behind vanity (minimal tiling but tricky, because must be done around mirror as it cant be removed). Wet saw can be used on balcony.
I would like to see previous work you've done.
Thanks and good luck

I recently purchased an older condo 600 sqft in downtown Toronto, and would like to renovate it before moving in. I take ownership on June 15, so renovations would preferably take place around this date but I am not strict on timing, since it would have to accommodate your schedule.
Depending on pricing, as I am on quite a strict budget due to the mortgage taking up the majority of my funds, I would like to renovate the following things in ascending order based on priority (i.e. if I can only afford the first 3 items on the list, I will just opt for those and renovate the rest in the future).
1) Remove stucco from ceiling
2) Laminate flooring for entire unit
3) Add 2 light fixtures (1 in living room, 1 in bedroom)
4) Kitchen tiles
5) Bathroom shower tiles
6) Bathroom floor tiles
Please provide an estimated quote (e.g. $/sqft). I understand that you need to checkout the unit to provide an accurate quote, however I do not have access to the unit yet. I have attached my floor plan for reference.

One bedroom condo, 1152sq. foot. fully prepared for the reno work, the building itself is 30 years old. We are planning to partly change the floor plan (moving some of the walls), changing the floors, tiles, electricians, plumbers and painters are also needed. Would like to meet a contractor who has a long time experience with this type of work and who has experience with all the preliminary work (city hall and management board permission) that is needed to be done before the renovation starts. Also, please send us your information with proof of licencing and insurance. Also, I would like to have an online estimate for my project if possible. And the approximate time it would take for the preliminary work to be completed. Thank You. Can't wait to hear from You!
I would like to ask for a three different projects quotation:
1. Gut the main floor and completely re-do. In this case isolate the basement and in the place of the stairs put a stuck washer and dryer. Additionally install a Central Air conditioning. Fix completely the garage and the driveway. Put white stones in the facade in front of the house re build the stairs and the front door. New deck with some glasses in the wood to allow the light to go to the basement window. Close with fence the back.
2. The same as above but creating a new bedroom and washroom in the back of the garage.
3. Same as above but adding a second floor with two bedrooms two washrooms and Cathedral Ceiling overlooking the living room, large windows in the front.
Average material and the bungalow is around 850 sqft.
THe idea is to fix one of the projects and start in one month. I will be living in the basement.
Full renovation upon completion of semi detached home construction.
