I am looking to have a treehouse built in my backyard. Needs to be able to hold the weight of 1,000 pounds at least. I’m 290 and will be up with the kids for sure. I want a ladder to get up or a fun contraption that is safe. I want walls a floor and a roof with a few windows. I want it air right so if it rains and they are inside it won’t leak. Safety is the most important thing! Let me know cost to build it please. I am in mid town Toronto. Text me! The back yard has an existing 40ft maple tree that is probably 20 years old.
Looking for a crew that can do apartment turn overs in some older buildings we manage in need of updating. Scope of work includes demo, removal of small non load bearing walls, new kitchen cabinet layout, tiling, some electrical and plumbing pipe updating. Use your own plumbers and electricians or we can co-ordinate with ours. Must have insurance and WSIB.
Looking at enclosing current patio/deck that is on top of garage (garage attached to house) into a small bedroom. Notes:
* current patio measures 14'6" x 8'9"
* currently a small door from a bedroom serves as entrance to the patio; however we might want to close this one off and add a new entrance way
* would need 3 walls and roof
* probably 2 decent sized windows
* house runs on radiator heating - so would need to tap into current supply line and add radiator?
* for AC might look at tapping into current duck system or adding small single zone unit (whichever is more affordable)?
* would need at least 2 power outlets?
* walls are brick & 2 brick for garage walls
We wish to build a two storey garage that could function as a workshop for an artist but would still technically be a garage. We will insulate and do the interiors ourselves. we'd like to have a carriage style door. we'd like to have a couple of windows. There is already an asphalt pad that would need to be replaced with a concrete pad. the width of the property is only 14 feet.

Hi, I am looking to underpin my bsmt under half of my house. Approx measurements are 9ft x 28ft. It is currently dug down with a concrete floor to a depth of 5 1/2 ft. I am the middle of a triplex row house. One neighbour is dug down to full height already. The opposite neighbour has donr benching on the attached wall to a depth of 6 ft. Firstly, I want to make sure I can underpin attached walls. Benching isn't an option due to the narrow space. Secondly, if possible what would the cost be for just underpinning or also if we adding plumping/sewage injector/sump pump in order to include a bathroom in the design. There is a small window currently which will need to be enlarged or a walk in place of it depending on pricing and restriction etc.

We can provide materials, we are willing to help to meet budget.
We had water damage to the ceiling in a bedroom ceiling recently from a leak in the roof. The roof is repaired but the ceiling has a big hole, the insulation is old, there's water damage and we'd like the whole ceiling ripped out/replaced with insulation added. This is our biggest priority but we'd also like someone to look at: our staircase (old, rickety, risers is bad shape, separating from second floor, needs repairs/replacing?), our front porch (also old and rickety, needs to be repaired/replaced?) and our facia and soffit (likely needs to be replaced). We live in a 1920's East York semi-detached.
We don't need everything done at once, the ceiling is the biggest priority so we can get our daughter moved back into her room.
Total area of 1400sf including basement is in need of renovation to make an open space store to a veterinary clinic. The heating system is radiator which will remain the same.
The place is in need of a new washroom in main floor, adding a sink and drain on main floor, finishing the basement and changing electrical board.
In addition will need some cabinet in a floor.
Thanks
Shervin
