I liked the work that was done by Wayne and his crew. They were very professional in their work. Being a professional office, they were very accommodating with their schedule.

They commenced their work as per schedule date and completed ahead of schedule deadline. It was a Job Well Done.

We are very pleased with our complicated deck roof. It has a peak that meets an existing overhang that is quite low that needed to be tied in for gutter and water runoff. Wayne contacted us right away. He gave a reasonable quote after he checked out the roof lines, floor joists and the footings under the deck He understood what I and my husband wanted which were two different styles. He and the carpenter Des worked out the style that was needed for the existing overhang and peak, and Des made it work. The workers arrived at 8 a.m. each day. The finished product is better than what we expected. I am getting a quote for my mother's deck and stairs now. Thank you Des, Mickey and Wayne.

This was our first renovation our family has done, so choosing a contractor was a little intimidating to start.

As soon as we met Wayne, we felt confident in him. He was very open, and honest about the process, and our budget.

Wayne and his crew are very polite and courteous. The work was done exceptionally well, and they made sure that we were provided with options that worked for us. They clean up after each day and arrive at the promised time or a little earlier. We have used Wayne and his crew on two projects now at our daughter's home.

1- Reno in main bathroom on the bathtub walls and part of ceiling.

2- Reno in basement to take out a wall and replace with bifold doors, change out ceiling tiles, and deal with a wall letting in odour from neighbour.

Both jobs turned out very well with no problems.

Wayne's prices may possibly be a wee bit higher, but he has quality people working for him who get decent wages, and who stay with the company. It's no good hiring a company who is cheaper and has staff who are not as experienced. When I hire someone, I want the job done right the first time, and as expected.

I would hire Builtru Construction again for future work.

After Wayne at Builtru Construction did home renovations on my sisters house I met with him to have him quote on a new store build I had happening at Langley City Square. Wayne efficiently came back with a very fair budget of what the cost would be and seemed very keen on doing the job. He was patient while in negotiations with the landlord and some delays on the landlords part. He did an amazing job on the build. His crew are top notch and very hard working. He stuck to timeline and budget. I would definitely recommend Builtru to anyone looking to do retail or commercial.

I had Builtru do the excavation, forms, and concrete work for my garage. Wayne and his crew were excellent. Came and gave a quote, walked me through the process. I was very happy with the final project. I recommend and would will use Builtru again if I need a contractor.

Builtru completed a bathroom complete renovation and upgrade to our condo unit in Burnaby in February 2018. Wayne was a great help in guiding us through the pricing through to completion. He stayed on budget and provided many sensible options as the work was completed. As with any renovation of 1980’s construction there are a few surprises. Builtru did not take advantage of these changes, but provided options and recommendations that made sense. The final product was outstanding and we are completely happy with the contractor.

I am very pleased with the final result for this project. The porch and stair construction workmanship was exceptional. All of our friends and neighbors who have come over have commented on how good it looks. Wayne was also very good about working with me so that I could do some of the easier portions (siding removal, painting and soffit) of the project to save a bit on the final cost.
