Robert came the same day we contacted him. He completed work and also told us there was a problem involving Hydro. He contacted Hydro and arranged for them to come. Our work has been completed. We were very happy with Robert and would not hesitate to call him again. Robert did work for us a couple years ago and that was a positive experience, as well.
Incredible how all those house lights dimmed during your power problems. Glad to have spent the time to search and locate the trouble quickly.

Our company Sils Complete Auto Care Centre recently relocated to a new location at 1040 Winston Churchill Blvd, Oakville. The facility required numerous electrical services. Fuse panel work, lighting, ceiling fan, exhaust system wiring, multiple vehicle lifts wired, media sign lighting repairs, outlets and more. For over 1.5 months Rob was in and out and on perfect time to completed the job very well. As like our business customer service is a priority, and "caring" about doing the job right is #1. Was Rob's company the cheapest - NO, but did he do it right. overwhelming YES!!. We moved our core business in 48 hours and needed exact timing to re wire up new quipment for the next buisness day, He worked with our other trades and movers to ensure we were ready to go. He ensured we passed ESA inspection and got the job done.

Based on the positive reviews on this website and his feedback to the reviews, we first hired Robert to install a bedroom ceiling fan and main bathroom fan. He was professional & friendly and did both jobs with ease and on budget. A couple weeks later, we hired Robert again to install a chandelier light fixture in the front foyer enterance. Again, it was done with professionalism and on budget. I would highly recommend Robert to anyone looking for a quality electrician.

I was VERY impressed with Rob and ElecTrilight ! We recently had some wiring concerns in our house which led to plugs not working and lights not working properly.
Rob answered my late night email quickly and set up a time to complete the work the next day. He arrived on time and was very professional from the start. He quickly found the problem and repaired it in the time he quoted!!
All in all a great experience and I will be using him again and recommending him to my friends!!

Going into a wiring job that has been taken apart and rewired and taken apart and required, who knows how many times, is always tricky... only to find out that the original wiring was wrong to begin with.... is not always easy to troubleshoot, but gladly everything worked out..

I had reservations when looking for an electrician on the web. I posted my job and many replied with quotes. Rather than replying with a $$ quote for a job he had never seen, Robert at Electrilight responded by asking me some important questions about the job completion up to that date. That's when I knew I was on to someone who was a true professional. Robert promptly emailed me numerous times discussing the work needed, and we scheduled an appointment for the work. On that date, Robert showed up early, and called upon arrival to make sure that was okay. He then assessed the job, got right to work and demonstrated his efficiency and experience as he completed the job and answered all my questions. He also pointed out safety concerns that the home builders had left, and told me how to go about fixing them. Laslty, Robert scheduled another appointment to complete the work (which was my fault because I hadn't prepped everything properly) and his second visit was just as helpful and efficient as the first. I cannot say enough positive things about Robert/Electrilight, and I will recommend him to anyone I know looking for an electrician. Everything about his business and workmanship speaks to his professionalism and knowledge. You cannot go wrong hiring him for your home projects!!!

i was very pleased with the service provided by Electrilight. The electrician was on time, courteous and very knowledgeable and had the job done properly in no time. He went beyond the call by fixing an electrical box that had crossed wires that could have been a potential issue in the future. My area of work was very difficult to reach (as I was told by two previous electricians) , but no issue when Electrilight came. He was willing to do my job which wasn't the quick in and out type of repair that the others had shyed away from. I would recommend Electrilight without any reservations and will be calling them again for any new issues needing their expertise. Thank you for helping me out!

The tools available now-a-days make life safer and easier, even when your ceiling fan is 20' above the main floor!! Not sure why the others wouldn't attempt it, well actually, I do know... don't like heights or couldn't get the power worked out??? ;)

We had Robert from Electilight install two ceiling fans - one was a simple installation in our master bedroom but the other was a little more complicated as it was located in our family room that had a 15ft ceiling and required Robert to crawl our attic to run a wire to power the fan.
Robert and his employee (sorry I never did get his name) were professional and efficient. They took precautions to lay down drop cloth and clean up after themselves. Based on my experience, I would recommend Electrilight for any ceiling fan install.

Robert and I have worked on many projects together over the years. His philosophy is the same as mine, if it is done right the first time you should never see us again about failures or shortcomings on that particular job. If your going to be a bear, it is best to be a grizzly bear. No half-assed, half-hearted attempts in any of Roberts jobs. Robert may not be the cheapest guy on the block, but then again you are not paying for the cheapest guy on the block. I truly believe that any project Robert takes on for his clients will be done not only to the best his ability, but will be done to ensure the safety of those he does work for. Roberts customers will not find him working on any project that he is not 100% sure of. The end result of using Robert at Electrilight Ltd. for all your wiring/cabling projects will always be at the very minimum up electrical code and above Canada's safety standards. No short-cuts, No cheap-outs on materials, No cutting corners to save himself a few dollars. Roberts first priority will always be to ensure that every electrical project he does is done correctly, because, there are few second chances once an electrical fire starts.
Outdoor hot tubs must have a LEC (licensed electrical contractor) install the wiring for these and we provide the ESA inspection as well, the only thing we don't do is supply the tub and dig trenches.
Electrical wiring for basement renovations must be completed only by a licensed electrical contractor. we walk through the entire process and address what you require plus add what must be there to meet code

Older electrical systems should be checked and repaired for peace of mind. If you have aluminum wiring it is definitely time to review all connections. If you see flickering lights or snapping switches or outlets, the danger could already be started.
Electrical full home inspection with or without ESA final inspection. 2-6 hour inspections will tell you what is good, what is bad, and what your home (selling or buying) is all about and what condition it is in.
We provide wiring for all home theatre, we don't provide the equipment (screens, TV, PVR, etc). we can, but recommend you see a local shop for those and best sale prices.
