Robert's services from ElecTriLight Ltd were excellent. He provided accurate written quotes in advance, was timely and professional, and provided high quality work at my home. He fixed problems he found in the existing wiring set up, and even alerted me to a home concern that wasn't related to electrical issues at all, which allowed me to get it fixed promptly. I would unreservedly recommend Robert and ElecTriLight to anyone, and have already done so to family members.

We hired Robert to replace our fusebox. He was totally reliable, professional, friendly, and courteous, and we could not have been more pleased and impressed with the work he did. ElecTriLight converted a portion of our facility to LED in March 2019 on time and on budget. We have 70,000 sq ft of mixed office, lab and manufacturing space and 16,000 sq ft was converted to LED. All communications with ElecTriLight were very professional and their replies were done in a timely manner. They do what they said they would do which is not too common today. We have been in business for three decades and have used many contractors and suppliers over the years. ElecTriLight is one of the best in terms of pride in their work, caring about their customer and doing what they say they will do. We will be using ElecTriLight in the future.

Robert was able to solve the electrical wiring problems with my house efficiently and effectively. He was punctual and was able to find the root cause of the dead circuit on the upper floor of my house. We hired Robert at ElecTriLight to run some flexible conduit and terminate some wiring for 120VAC panel in the Central Water Room for a large Lab in Toronto. ElecTriLight provided excellent communication, timely response, quality service and followed all codes required to complete the job in a timely and professional manner. I don’t find many people I can recommend without hesitation but Robert and ElecTrilight I can give my highest recommendation. He is a professional master electrician who listens to your ideas, makes suggestions that are valuable, explains clearly what needs to be done and then prepares contracts that are reasonably priced and delivers to the agreed budget and timelines. In my experience people like this are hard to find. You can trust him to do things right and not to compromise quality and electrical codes.

The first project Robert did for us was the electrical for our basement finishing (a rather big project but Robert delivered to time and budget. No inspection issues and they indicated none expected with his work. That was 6 years ago and there have never been any issues With the work. For later projects - (master bathroom renovation including ventillation fans, heated flooring and heated towel bars, lighting, shower pot lights, etc) and hot tub electrical we only considered Robert for our jobs. Again he was a pleasure to work with, and reasonable and on time and budget. He also worked with inspectors on some code clarifications for heating flooring that allowed us to complete as planned and that was much appreciated and in part probably reflects the respect they have for him as well.

Robert is a great electrician, and has done a number of different jobs for me at two different houses.

Awesome company to deal with. We did a full house renovation and hired ElecTrilight to do all our electrical work. Robert came to the job site to review what we wanted done and work out our timeline. We asked lots of questions and Robert had all the answers as well as some really good suggestions. I asked all kinds of questions about electrical codes and Robert answered all of them correctly. ( This guy knows his codes. ) They showed up the day they said they would and they were prepaired to do the job, they had all the supplies they needed for a full days work. Robert communicated well with the other trades on site to get everyone on the same page and keep the electrical part moving without hindering the other trades from completing their work.

Every day Robert would text me or call me to tell me what to expect the following day and what he required from the other trades to keep electrical moving forward.

I hired a HVAC company to install all new equipment and when Robert noticed that some of their work was not correct he called me and informed me of the defects he had noticed and the code violations he had found. He did not have to say anything, but being a stand up guy he did the right thing and looked out for the safety and best interest of his customer.

Robert and the guys at ElecTrilight were by far my favourite trade to deal with during our renovation. Great work quality, great at communication, cleaned up after themselves on a daily basis, showed up when they were required to sometimes with very short notice.
