Please read.. I just wish I had read the reviews before I made a call to this “Company”
The fact they say “Licensed” is a joke.
I called Friday as my oven was giving me an F9 error and I needed a tech ASAP and I so I googled and this is who came up.. they offed to be there Sunday and it is only $80 for the service call but if you go ahead with the repair that the $80 will be deducted from your over all cost. That is BS because when the tech entered my home and before even started, he said now it is $265+ tx for the inspection and service and if he has the parts if not will have to order and come back. Payment only taken in debit or Cash and at this point I should have kicked him out but I needed my stove working. He took the back off took a little device with beeping sound to wires and muddled around.. after about 20 min he closed the back up and told me that the issue was the oven control board was not sending single to the oven but that he could not see why and just to replace it. That nothing else was wrong with my whole unit, he saw no sign of any issue but that he does not have this part that he “Looked up the part” on LG site and it was $400+ to order it an would take 5 business day’s to get it in and then book another call to install so on average 1-2 weeks to get it done.
At this point I was done with him and told him no and I would be going though LG directly.. Paid him the agreed “service” amount and he left. 30 min later I was attempting to make dinner and the front main element which was working that very morning was no longer worker.. so not only was he useless but he made it worse and now I was without an element and my oven.
So Monday I went through LG got their approves service tech who called my1hr later advise me they ordered all necessary parts before coming to my house and the part would be in Wednesday (no 5 business days) and they would come that day. Turns out the parts were in Tuesday he came and showed me this company disconnected the connection to my element and showed me the very clear burn mark on the Oven control board.
Yes I tried calling the office to get my $ back but it is all a scam and the fact that payment was only taken in cash or debit should have been my tell tale that I should have stopped. Lesson learned for me please do not let them do it to you.
They are scammers that is all they are their Licenses tech are not they are simply trained how to say the words that make some sense to those who do not know otherwise.
They are a scam company. They will not send a qualified technician to your home, but rather their sole intent is to steal your money. There is no intent to fix your appliance. I've reported them to the police, and if you feel you've been scammed by them, please report them to the police. The people running the company need to be charged with fraud. They are not a legitimate company and they need to be stopped.
I didn’t like the labour fee of $350 for 7 minutes work
I didn’t like paying $500 for a part that is $14.99 online
I didn’t like not having my calls/emails/messages ignored for a week and answered only when I threatened to call fraud.
I liked that he finally showed up and the dryer does work.
Don’t recommend using this business. Extremely overpriced.
I had a service repairman here to fix a broken dishwasher.
He wanted me to pay for labor before he even looked at the machine.
I paid $333.35. after he looked at the machine he told me that it needs an additional $473.24 in parts.
I told him that is ridiculous and for that amount I could just buy a new machine.
He then wrote that on the receipt that it would require the additional money for parts when I had already signed and paid for the first amount agreed upon.
I inquired about a refund and he told me to call the company.
I called the company on four separate occasions and they would not put me through to a supervisor.
Long story short I paid over $300 and my Appliance didn't get fixed.
He was here for a total of 20 minutes.
The company said that diagnostics is labor and that is what I paid for, but diagnostics and labor are two separate things.
Once again he did not perform any labor whatsoever and the appliance was not fixed.
My father recently contacted them for a stove repair for our tenant. A technician came and took his standard $80 but told us for further repairs it would be $280+tax (without even telling us what the issue is). Instead of paying close to $400 for repairs my father went and bought a new stove and threw the old one out. When the new stove came it wouldn't turn on, so we called the Leons technician to come check it. Turns out there was an electrical fault and nothing was wrong with the stove. How is it that the Leons technician picked up on it right when he checked but these technicians didn't notice that the stove was fine and there was an electrical issue in the apartment. I'm convinced that he knew exactly what the issue was, but unless we paid the extra money he wasn't planning on telling us. So now we threw out a perfectly fine stove, ended up buying a new one, and paid the visit fee. I plan on taking them to small claims court on behalf of my father, so if anyone else has been scammed by these frauds please get in touch.
This is worst service and unreliable service that I have ever received. The service is overpriced, deceptive and unreliable. There was $80 upfront charge, which I assumed was for assessment however this was not the case. I had to pay separately for the assessment. To-date it's been over 6 weeks since these people have the microwave and still the repair is not complete. The parts took forever to arrive, when it finally arrived, the technician installed it but the microwave was still not working properly. I was told it had to be taken back to "their lab" for minor programming. It's been 2 weeks since and I still haven't gotten my microwave. I called several times, was told either the lab is closed or technician left for the day. This company is not worth doing business with. Please stay away from them.
Absolutely a bunch of scammers … asked my mom for 320+ dollars before they start the service. Then they said the left railing part needs to be replaced for 440$, we said we will buy a new fridge. He used no parts, spent 20 minutes at the house, and took 320 from my old mom in cash. The freezer door doesn’t even open half way now - as of one day later.
How is it possible that labour cost 320$ in 20 minutes? When you don’t even fix the problem. Scammers. Scammers. Scammers!
All other reviews say the same story! This company has a 1.2 star review. Run away.
Inept. Expensive. They refuse to guarantee their work (only their parts). Very good customer service to lure you in until there's a problem (which there was- the fridge leak reappeared within 24 hours after the 'repair') and then they are evasive and refuse to help or give a refund. Repair man said the work he did would solve the problem. Now they tell me they installed a part to correct a problem that never existed. They only accept cash or debit which is the first red flag. Avoid them at all costs- and it will cost you a lot to hire them.
