I would like a quote on rebuilding an existing standing shower. The dimensions are approximately 3x4 ft with a corner taken out for the shower entrance (e.g. 3x4ft neo angle). The ceiling is roughly 8 ft in height. See the attached images for an idea of the existing shower.

- removal of existing cement backer-board/drywall
- removal of existing shower door and marble trim
- supply and installation of new drywall (or Kerdi Board for walls)
- supply and installation of mud shower bed
- supply and installation of Kerdi drain and membrane system
- supply and installation of Kerdi 12x12 wall shower niche

- installation of supplied tiles (floor, wall, ceiling)
- installation of supplied grout
- installation of supplied shower head and faucet
- supply and installation of silicone caulking as needed
- supply and installation of shower door opening trim (or tile)
- supply and installation of new frameless swing glass shower door (roughly 24-25" wide)
- the existing ceiling light will be re-used, so no electrical work should be necessary
I will provide the following materials:
- tiles (up to 4x4" for floor tiles, 12x24" for wall tiles)
- grout
- new shower faucet with valve
Your quote should include labour and any other materials needed, for example:
- Kerdi Drain
- Kerdi Membrane
- Kerdi Board (or Drywall)
- Kerdi 12x12" wall niche
- Kerdi corners, band as needed
- Mortar/Thinset
- Frameless Swing Shower Door
- Plumbing materials (copper pipe, solder, etc)
All work will be done in a detached house in Mississauga (Hurontario & Eglinton area). Along with your quote please include earliest expected project starting date and overall duration. I would like the job done as soon as possible but I don't mind waiting for a good contractor to become available.
In kitchen to remove old cabinets, back splash tiles and floating floor. Install new cabinets, stove, kitchen appliances and flooring. Here is the picture of the kitchen:click here bathroom to replace leaking shower enclosure, sink, toilet bowl, maybe floor tiles to.
I live in a condominium which was built in 1990. Would like to upgrade the kitchen and the two bathrooms. Major work would be involved in the kitchen where new cabinets, extra storage space and new counter top is required. I would like to have a pantry and more counter space with a modern look and yet simple. Iam thinking of having stainless steel counter top where the sink is situated while a different material across from the sink where the stove is. But am open to other suggestions as long as they are within my budget. the kitchen area is 8 ft X 15 ft.
Bathrooms need a new sink and vanity and a new more efficient toilet. I don't think I would like to change anything else except if I could have a cover for the tiles and the bath tub instead of replacing them.

I am looking at an approx. cost of the entire effort. I would love if the quote will be broken down by labor vs material. This way I can look at purchasing tiles, tub, cabinets myself. While I understand this will be high-level cost, without actually looking at my place, rough idea is all I need at this point.

Main bath and ensuite reno's required. Currently ensuite is only a half bath, would like to add in a shower which would mean possibly creating a larger ensuite by using up the closet space in the master bedroom. A full upgrade of tiles, fixtures, cabinets etc... is required
The main washroom will stay the same in terms of structure (ie: toilet sink, counter), however a full upgrade of tiles, fixture, cabinets etc..is required.
Drawing package will be provided for interior design scope.
Hello,
I have a 15 year old home that requires a renovation to the Master bathroom.
Bathroom is a standard builder grade and outdated.
Currently:
- Standup shower
- Soaker Tub
- long vanity with a single sink
- toilet
- Space is about 10 X10
Noticed a water leak on the main floor ceiling that is most likely coming from the standup shower stall.
Looking for a full reno on the bathroom.
Like to have:
- Standup shower
- double sink vanity
- standalone TUB (open to ideas)
If possible looking to expand the Master walkin closet (to make closet bigger, washroom smaller) as an option depending on costs and timelines. Otherwise bathroom remodel will do.
Keep in mind that we are also planning a full main floor remodel in the near future so we would re use the same contractor based on quality of work, price, and of course reliability.
I would like to convert my master ensuite from a 2-piece to a 4-piece bathroom. The master is on the top floor of the house (attic above). There is one small window above the current toilet/vanity (centered in the existing ensuite).
I am looking to complete this project in 2010.
The current bathroom is 6' x 4' and is next to a walk-in closet that is also 6' x 4' (total floor space of 12' x 4')
I would like to do the following:
1. move the wall between bath and master bedroom to give a total space of 12' x 5'
2. replace existing sink/vanity with stand alone tub (5' length)
3. install a new tiled shower (5' length x 2.5' width) with glass door and new vanity/sink (36"-48") where the existing closet is now
4. toilet is not moving, but will be replaced
5. install fan in the ceiling for shower
6. new lighting above vanity
7. tile floor
Plan to use ceramic tile in all applications except for a glass mosaic band in the shower approx 4"-6" tall on all 3 walls.
Please provide rough cost estimate (ranges are fine) and estimated timeline for completion. Responses without at least a rough cost and time estimate will not be considered.
Please advise if more information is required.
Gutting master ensuite, approx. 200 sq ft.
New floor tiles, remove built-in tub and replace with free-standing tub, replace double-sink vanity, install new electrical fixtures and potlights, enlarge shower stall from 3'x 3' to 3'x5' and install new wall tiles, new plumbing fixtures throughout.
Looking to remove the existing built -in neo-angle shower (including the drop ceiling) and adjacent vanity. Walls will need to be repaired and the shower plumbing moved from one of the demolished walls to the adjacent wall. Looking to install ceramic tile on the repaired wall to a height of 80" and install a half-round acrylic base shower with glass doors (to be provided).
We want to hire someone who would redo our master washroom. We already have the materials, so the quote would be for labor only.
We want a shower and bath in a common area:
common area with a bath on legs. This area is approx 7 feet wide by 6 feet deep by 8 feet high. We want to put small tiles (2 x 2 I think) on the floor, 12 x 10 tiles on 3 walls and the opening to the rest of the washroom will be a glass door.
The rest of the washroom is quite small, approx 4 feet by 7 feet. We need tiles on the floor for that part.
We have a double vanity to install.
There used to be only a bath in that bathroom, which also used to be smaller than it is now. So there is some plumbing to do as well as preparation for tiles (base and walls) and the actual tiling.
That's about it.
We already have someone who could do the job, but he is now busy in the basement and we would like to speed up the process of completing our renos so if someone else could do the bathroom, that would be great. We are therefore looking for someone available very soon, who would give us a competitive quote and who has good references.
If you could give me a ballpark for your estimate and when you could start and think you could complete the project, you have way more chances to get it, as I don't really want to meet 20 persons for the job. Again, remember, the quote is for labour only, as I have the material (and will pay for what will be needed down the road).
Take note that if I am satisfied with the job done, we also have a bathroom in the basement to do and the tiling for a laundry room in the basement as well.
I attached some pictures, which are not really good, sorry about that. I guess I was just too close to get good pictures. Anyway, this is to give you an idea of the state of the situation. (not even sure the pictures uploaded correctly, but will try to fix that if I realized it did not work)
Thanks
Renovation of men's washroom/locker room in industrial building.
Aprox. 700 sq. feet.
Paint, replace stalls (3), urinal dividers (2), maybe tile the floor.
Floor is currently painted concrete. walls are tiled half way up from floor.
Others ideas would be welcomed to help make the room look more modern, and less like a 'prison' bathroom!
Would need to be done on weekend.
