There is a very small leak coming from the tub faucet. I therefore would like to replace the entire shower and faucet unit. Also, there is mold (that I can't seem to remove) just in the corner near the tap. I believe the caulking would have to be removed and re-applied in that area.
Please let me know if you can give me a free estimate, and if you need to come by and see the bathroom in order to do that.

Hi there
I require a contractor who would be available within the next 15 days or so to complete my bathroom. It is a newer home and the builder left all the plumbing and rough in so it is ready to go.
I am looking for something simple, modern, clean and cost effective. This bathroom is for my elderly parents so I need some accessibility ideas to accommodate them. Also accessibility for the personal support worker to easily bathe my parents.
I would need the floor to be warm as it is on the main level of my townhome.
I am looking for some options that would save some money but not compromise on look, comfort or accessibility. Also, if there are any options on a payment plan if required would help.
I appreciate your response.
I am in the Mississauga/Brampton area.
I want to put a 3 pcs washroom in the master bedroom. the washroom would be on the other side of the exicting washroom. I need the complete plumming, dryiwall etc. for the new washroom and I also want to extend the exisitng closet to a walk in closet since one side of it would be used for the new washroom. We also need the bathtub insert in the existing washroom replaced and need a sink hooked up in the basement (we are putting in small kitchen). Cllosing of the house is Nov. 20,06 and we want to get everything done right after that (max by Dec. 10.06)
I'm looking at adding an extra bathroom to my home in Meadowvale. This would be a toilet, shower glass and floor with all necessary works but excluding vanity set. New bathroom is next to an existing one.
What could be your price range so I can see the feasibility before you take a look for specific details.
Hope to hear from you tomorrow.
Thanks.

I am moving to a semi detached home and its probably 20-30 years old. I would like to replace the tub and tub wall surround (its one of those wall sheets) in the main bath and perhaps a shower stall in the master bedroom bathroom. They are both in bad shape and I am sure there is water damage in both baths. Some of the wall is rotted by the tub in the main bath and by the shower stall in the master bath and I'm sure there's some behind the tub and shower walls as well.
I am afraid to use them because I don't want to cause anymore water damage. I would prefer tiles for the tub wall and the shower stall depening on the cost, if not I would have to do another wall surround. Everything else in the washrooms are fine, the floors, toilets, etc. Its just the tub/ shower that needs help. Thanks.

for over a year I have not used a walk in tiled shower (approx 3 x 5 ft) due to slow drainage of water when used - I think I need the drain snaked as well the light within the shower does not work and I would like that addressed.
as of this afternoon a toilet in a seperate bathroom - still on the same second floor of the house backed up and spilled over - once again I believe a drainage issue.
help!

What should have been an easy plumbing fix turned out to be a nightmare for us today. While replacing the toilet, the plumber dropped the toilet in our brand new fully enclosed glass shower in our basement. We need asap a bathroom contractor to fix the following:
1. Shower glass door is chipped/cracked. This may need replacing.
2. The piece of marble that lays on the bottom alongside the shower is chipped. You would need to remove the shower glass door and the walls of the glass shower to replace this marble piece and reinstall the glass walls and shower door
3. He also scratched the engineered hardwood in our basement with the snake. Either we need the floors resurfaced or the section that is scratched replaced. Please email me at vince.yee@rogers.com as soon as possible to come and give me an estimate.
The plumber agreed to pay for these damages. I am looking for a contractor that can quote me for this repair/replacement of the above items.
My house is 40 years old. I am planning to relocate my Laundry Room and Powder Room to create more open space on the main floor. The main floor square footage is 1400 sq ft. I am planning to buy all the materials (ie. tiles, vanity, toilet, fixtures, drywalls, etc.). Therefore, I would like to get an estimate for LABOUR ONLY.
The required work is as follows:
1. Relocate Laundry room and 2-piece Powder Room about 10 to 15 feet towards one side of the house (the current location of the laundry room and powder room is more centrally located). The basement is unfinished. The plumbing work should be minimal since there are no major obstructions below.
2. Install frame and drywalls for new Laundry Room and Powder Room.
3. Replace hardwood flooring with ceramic tiles in the new Laundry Room and Powder Room location (about 140 square feet ).
4. Install plumbing and electricals in the new Laundry Room and Powder Room.
5. Remove existing 3 walls (each about 10 to 12 foot long). One wall is load-bearing which can be replaced with a column.
6. Install ceramic tiles throughout the new open space (about 100 square feet).
Please let me know if you require further details.

- Sufficient traction on the floor to avoid slipping.
- Sitting area in the standing shower.
- Necessary grip bars to help with getting in and out.
- Shower mechanism to support bathing in a sitting position.
- Grip bars near the toilet seat.
- Replacement tiles to match or blend with existing.
