Hi,
Project is to add a bathroom on the second level. The home currently has one full bathroom upstairs. New bathroom would be a toilet, sink/vanity and shower. No tub is required.
The home is vacant and would be clear of all furniture before work starts. Attached is the original layout. 'Home Off' and BDRM 2 are one room, no wall in-between. Home Office is where the new bathroom would go.
Looking for an experienced contractor that takes pride in their work and be trusted to complete the project in a timely and cost effective manner.
thanks,
Jacob
We have a bedroom in the basement of bungalow. We would like to add an ensuite washroom in between the closet in the bedroom and a washroom that services the rest of basement on other side (So ensuite washroom would be sandwiched between adjacent washroom and bedroom closet). Washroom would be small...about 5' W x 10' L including space for shower stall.
To do this, a doorway will need to be cut through cinder block load bearing wall. We need a rough-in for shower, toilet and sink. We would need someone to take care of permit and have drawing stamped by mechanical/structural Engineer.
Required:
1) Permit and stamped drawing
2) Doorway cut into cinder block wall
3) Rough-in for washroom and vent
4) Cut through to outside for an exhaust fan
Hi,
I am looking to renovate my finished basement and upgrade my master bathroom. The basement renovation includes installing a bathroom, bedroom, gym and wet bar. The master bedroom upgrade is to upgrade the shower, vanity, flooring and tub. I have design details to share with all of the project requirements.
In terms of timing, I am looking to get started as soon as possible.
Thanks.
Patrick
We are gutting a bathroom in our basement. It will require redrywalling, new shower installation to replace a kit type shower, complete with tile, new vanity (freestanding) and toilet installation. New floor tile and possibly some other tiling in the room. Room is approximately 8x6. Need an approximate price for labour only.
We live in a 20 year old house with 2/3 of the basement finished. I need to put a basic, nice bathroom in the unfinished area. there is a rough-in although my understanding is that it needs to be moved (concrete floor cut). I am looking for a shower, sink and toilet, perhaps linen closet. I can do the easy stuff (painting, installing vanity etc.) once the hard stuff (shower, tiles etc.) is done to keep my costs down. Would like someone with experience with Schluter Kerdy for the shower system.
We have already had drains installed in our basement for a 3-piece bathroom (toilet, bath and vanity). Need yo have the hole ( approx.4 x7 ft and around 6 inches deep) filled in with stone/gravel base and concrete, and making sure the concrete is placed securely under egdes where the floor is currently compromised. I've already purchased the concrete.
Would like the work completed by Sunday Dec. 6. Weekends preferred but may be able to accomodate weekdays.
r/r laundry tub, move plumbing to wall, prepare 2 walls for track and stud (19 feet), r/r 1 sheet drywall, finish heat vent, vapour barrier (8 feet), create plywood counter (apx 3 x 6) and finish with tile and backsplash (apx 3 x 3), replace door, paint floor with epoxy, tape, prime and paint 24 feet drywall, install drop in laundry tub with faucet.
I supply door, passage door knob, laundry tub and strainer, faucet, floor epoxy and tiles.
New tub and shower with rain and hand held shower head with pressure/temperature control. New tiles all around with accent tiles and soap tray indent. Have two weeks to get it done. 5.1 ft by 2.7 ft and 7ft tall. Need to find someone to do it ASAP, within the next two weeks finished! Thank you! Budget around $2000.
