When I realized I wanted better outside lighting , I called Robert right away. Having used him in the past...I knew that he completed each job like it was at his own house. His expertise and knowledge is exactly why he is the first person we call (and maybe his sense of humour).
In any case, not only did he drill through brick and add new outdoor lighting, but he installed an automatic light switch that turns the lights on at sundown. I'm impressed with how great this turned out. I also heard that a couple of my neighbours saw what a great job he was doing during the Instalation and asked him to do theirs next.

Robert did similar work for me two years ago. My older brother with health issues needed the same done for his home sale and I arranged it with Robert per his request.
Robert and I went through the home and he found electrical connections I never knew were in the home. He itemized the work and quoted and completed all the work timely including making all arrangements with Oakville Hydro for panel replacement.
We were very happy with the cost compared to some other quotes.
If you want a prompt, efficient and especially HONEST contractor, Robert is my recommendation.

Thank you for the review Karin, as always, there is a minimum fee for a service call, and materials are charged without markup, which are always quoted and do not change during a call. I have yet to ask any client for more money that I have quoted a repair.

This is the second time that I have used Electrilight to do work in my home. Robert came out to assess the job request and explained to me in detail what had to be done. I was given a detailed quote for all the work to be completed and the quote did not change. I was also given exact dates and times that Electrilight would be at my home. All work when completed was inspected by the Electrical Safety Authority. All areas where work was completed was left clean. Robert was only to happy to answer any questions that I had during his time at my home. The new panel upgrade also gives me extra space to add to the panel in years to come. I would use Electrilight again to do work in my home.
even though your old fuse panel was in mediocre condition, it is always a good idea to update into new technology and comfort of never searching for another fuse again! new outlets cut into your existing brick should help with your electric BBQ and Xmas lights too!

Robert and I have worked on many projects together over the years. His philosophy is the same as mine, if it is done right the first time you should never see us again about failures or shortcomings on that particular job. If your going to be a bear, it is best to be a grizzly bear. No half-assed, half-hearted attempts in any of Roberts jobs. Robert may not be the cheapest guy on the block, but then again you are not paying for the cheapest guy on the block. I truly believe that any project Robert takes on for his clients will be done not only to the best his ability, but will be done to ensure the safety of those he does work for. Roberts customers will not find him working on any project that he is not 100% sure of. The end result of using Robert at Electrilight Ltd. for all your wiring/cabling projects will always be at the very minimum up electrical code and above Canada's safety standards. No short-cuts, No cheap-outs on materials, No cutting corners to save himself a few dollars. Roberts first priority will always be to ensure that every electrical project he does is done correctly, because, there are few second chances once an electrical fire starts.
Outdoor hot tubs must have a LEC (licensed electrical contractor) install the wiring for these and we provide the ESA inspection as well, the only thing we don't do is supply the tub and dig trenches.
