We added a patio door (6 food slider) where a wall used to be and we want to extend the concrete patio we have on 2/3 the back of our house, to cover the back of the house
The current patio is a white concrete with a broom stroke on it.
If there is a minimum site fee, we may have another pad for a shed we'd need.
Hi,
I'm looking for someone to install a concrete pad adjacent to our farmhouse. It should be 6" deep, and approx 16' x 18'. Need a very slight grade for water to drain off. The spot is currently bare soil, looks relatively flat to the naked eye.
Thanks for your help.
8 ft x 50 ft walkway needing concrete. Existing concrete already removed and new concrete to be poured. There is a metal fire escape built above it with 3 posts that require sonotube. Also need tuckpointing and spotpointing around house. 6 windows with cracks in bricks below. One window with very loose arch overhanging window. Large cracks/gaps between house extension.
More pictures available upon request.
I have a back patio that is 9.5 by 8.1 feet. The patio has standard large slabs that have over time separated. Work would involve:
- Replacing the old slabs with newer ones in the area.
- Removing and putting back concrete two-step stairs
- Extend by single row of slab at bottom of the patio area. May involve some digging and flattening.
- Extend out from one side by approximately 6 feet (or 3 slabs). Would likely involve digging and flattening.
I've been quoted $17 square feet which I think is way too pricey for the work being done. Looking for someone who can do this project for much less but also do a professional job.
To look at the site, I'm only available on Tuesday, September 25th so you have to be available to come look then.
We're renovating the basement of our old 1920's house, and the concrete floor is in rough shape - some holes through to earth (I think), and some uneven concrete. The area is approximately 450 square feet. I would like a new concrete floor which is flat and appropriately levelled towards the floor drain. I am willing to remove parts of the existing floor as necessary to prepare for the new floor to be poured.
Basement remodeling underway. Existing tile floor was heaving in places and when removed revealed excessive moisture, efflourescence, and mold. Current concrete floor is mostly original and very uneven. At this stage it would be good to see what flooring options are available, but I suspect a new concrete pad will need to be poured throughout the entire basement (roughly 600 square ft). The house is a semi-detatched roughly 15'x40'. The basement is semi-finished from a previous renovation with a walled off bathroom and bedroom in disrepair.
I am a contractor working on a residential property. The original plan was to remodel the basement, however, when investigating the floor it has revealed problems that go beyond the scope of work I do and likely requires a concrete specialist who will remove the old floor and pour a new pad.
We are looking for someone who can level off a basement floor.
We're thinking a new slab of concrete would have to be poured over the existing slab in order to level it off.
Its about 600 square feet.
There is currently laminate flooring over it, which would have to be removed and then reinstalled once the floor is leveled off.
We are looking to get estimates and pricing.
Thanks.
Hi. My garage concrete floor is currently cracked and we are finishing our basement, so it will need to be chipped, disposed and replaced. It is currently not level and is 4-6 inches thick therefore requires replacement. No problems with parking as we have a large driveway.
GARAGE dimensions: 20 feet X 10 feet
I have limited time to invite a lot of contractors therefore happy to send a video if easier too.
We need our backyard gutted. There is approx 10 feet x 12 feet of concrete slab we need removed before we can start landscaping.
We also need a basement door sealed up and filled in (cement block).
We are seeking quotes for work to start November 22nd. We do not have possession of the house until Nov 21st but will be glad to give you the address so you can drive by and provide a quote.
Thank you for your feedback.

Looking for someone to help with the cement component of building a wooden fence.
Need to dig 5 holes 3-4 feet deep and fill them with cement. I will provide the 6x6 that go into the holes before the concrete.
For 2 out of 5 holes, the existing concrete patio floor will need to be carefully broken, to make the hole for the post but not to damage the surrounding floor.
I'm interested in 2 quotes: work+materials (concrete) and work without materials (I provide the concrete).
Thank you.
I'd like to know how much it would cost just for labour only for a 215,000 square feet slab with an average thickness of 200 mm including assembling rebar, pouring and finishing.
I also need a quote for labour only for 42000 8 inch concrete blocks with some bond beams including grouting, rebar work and scaffolding rental.
Thank you
We are downtown church and need a pad carved into the side of our building and pad poured for a urgently needed storage shed. We also have a back stairway that lends itself to a hangout and we need this blocked off with railing built and door for access from inside to outside only.
Would like two individual prices because depending on cost they may have to budgeted separately. As with any old century downtown building though we can guarantee much more work for the contractor with great work and pricing (plus our 400 members all need work done and like to use ppl we trust)
Removed existing concrete lip, new raised threshold based required for a walk up basement entrance. 34" wide, 5" height, 6" depth. Once done I can get a custom door rough out measurements done.
Possible extra job to create an interior basement single concrete step which is about a 45 degree slope at the moment. 2 bags of Bomix (all purpose - pre blended, more than 2") on site already.
The front of the home needs new concrete stairs and demolish existing steps.
Excavate 3 feet for steps and concrete pad, pour new footing for the steps with concrete.
Concrete porch needs new concrete over lay.
Concrete pad needed in front of the porch 8 feet out.
Also, looking for asphalt replacement of the driveway.
Front of garage needs to be excavated, now concrete poured, drainage basin with grill (either formed and poured or prefab drainage unit), foundation repairs, new brick or remove and install concrete block, remove the bricked planter. Span of area is approx. 15-20 LF. Pics are enclosed, more than welcome to approach the job at any time to take a look. Realistic with pricing and time line. Experience a must and professionalism.

I have a 14 foot conrete curb at the end of my driveway. It is currently 5" high and too high for my sportscar. I would like someone willing to take on the job ideally of cutting it down or removing it. The driveway leads onto a city lane and most of my neighbours simply do not have curbs. However, I could not tell for removal purposes how deep it is.
Please let me know if you are interested in the job and could provide a rough estimate, subject to a final look at it.
thanks aileen
